ok, I want to hack the pallets so I can make better graphics, I know how to do this for GBA really well and GB GBC so forth, but I can't hack the nes pallets because I don't know the Hex for it, does anyone have a program or something that shows all the possible combinations?
I know all colors aren't supported in that system... thats one of my problems at the second as well.
that and other programs like that so people know whats capable for other systems.

I would appreciate atleast the nes one for a hack I am doing.

thank's a lot, I like the fact that I got a reply pretty quickly, nice little chart if only it wasn't in jpg format, but still works.

Wow, that method is...well, a lot more complex than I'm used to for hacking palettes.

I can see how that method is more effective because palettes aren't always stored in the same format (sometimes they save a few bytes by leaving out colors) and because there are sometimes duplicate sets of palettes in a ROM, but I still think the old method, explained in this document, is simpler. Oh, and that document has a table of colors that's not an image, which is pretty cool. The list of colors at the end, though, is wrong; everything seems to be shifted by 1 after some point, so the author probably made a mistake when listing them out. It won't affect you if you're not making a palette file for something or anything of that sort.

Anyway, yeah. Good luck with using either or both methods.

yeah, thank you too, only problem I had with nes pallets was I didn't know it was XX, I was so used to the XX XX format from later games.

I appreciate the help!
