| Flung against the opposite wall, Sukasa shook off the blow form the hit and turned around. Hearing Kirbynite, Sukasa bent down and pulled the luggage off of Kirbynite.
"Y'okay? That was a rather unexpected stop. I'm gonna go see if I can find anything out." Shifting the luggage so it wouldn't fall again, Sukasa slid open the cabin door and poked his head out, noting that there were a lot of people doing the same. Pushing his way through the thickening crowd, Sukasa moved down the passageway, looking for anyone who could tell him what had just happened. Looking out the window, Sukasa could plainly see they weren't in a station or anything, as there were only green hills. |

| Zaros flew across the cabin and smacked into the opposite wall with a slight *squeak*. Kent followed suit, flying across the cabin, slamming into the wall and sliding down, head under heels. Kent rubbed the back of the head and winced, while Zaros rolled off of the luggage pile and onto the floor. Kent crawled down from the seat and scooped up Zaros, holding him in both arms like a child. A faint glow, barely discernable, was seen and in a few seconds Zaros was back on his feet. Kent rubbed the back of his head and placed Zaros on his shoulder.
Zaros: "Woo... some ride... yeesh." Kent busied himself with straighening his robe, while Zaros surveyed the damage, glancing at the luggage strewn about. Zaros: "Well... Id..." Kent and Zaros made eye contact. Zaros nodded. "Is it just me, or... brr.. is it getting kinda chilly in here?" Kent frowned and touched a finger to his forehead like he had a headache. With a little urging from Zaros, Kent climbed back up to his seat and laid down Zaros: "You guys go on without us... Kent isnt feeling too well." (edited by Kattwah on 01-05-07 09:38 PM) |

The spikey headed boy proceeded to lift all of the luggage and place them back on the overhead compartments. One at a time, of course. Coo: That was awfully dreadful. What kind of nutters drive this train!? Kirby: What did I say about talking. |

| If Guts had a bad feeling, then Sukasa had a *really* bad feeling. A few cars up the train, Sukasa had still not found a single person who seemed to know anything about what was going on. "Ah man, what the heck's going on?" Wondered Sukasa, looking around and feeling chilly. "And why is it getting so cold all of a sudden?" Not knowing anything about what was going on, Sukasa began to make his way back to his cabin. Oh getting there, Sukasa walked in and sat down in the corner, the cabin having been cleaned up in his absence. "Well, I can't find anybody who knows what's going on. All there's been for the next four cars are kids with no idea what's going on..." | |||

| As the train stopped, the Gameboy fell out of Melo's hands and fell to the floor with a simple thud. His head hit the wall behind him and almost knocked him out. "What the?"
As he went to pick up his Gameboy, a sudden chill came over him as it became cold. He shivered and grabbed his video game. Gah, frozen! It froze on him! Just at a boss! He wasn't too concerned though, as he quickly shut off the game system and put it back in his pocket. After doing so, he zipped up his blue jacket and stayed put, shivering in his seat. He noticed that Rushuna was awake. "Are you okay?" He glanced down and just noticed that Fires was there sleeping. "Looks like she is fine..." |

| Zap and Twister were on the way back to their specially-reserved cabin with their nets resting on their shoulders. They were a bit frazzled, I guess you could say, from the hunting they’d been doing and the stern “talking to” they ended up getting from the plump witch.
As usual, the boys shrugged it off. After all, they did end up with their prize. Teddylot was stranded. Upside-down inside Zap’s net in a seemingly uncomfortable position. Twister: And we’re going to display your decapitated head on the wall to show off our bounty. Zap: Either that or we could stuff you. Twister: Or turn you into a rug for our study. Teddylot: I’d rather be on a wall, thanks. That way, I could spit on you ninnies whenever you walked by. The two boys came up to a closed compartment with the label “Roaches Abode Here”. Twister removed the sign off of the door handle and went inside the empty compartment. Why shouldn’t he? He made the sign after all. Zap and Twister took opposite seats by the window. Twister put his feet up over the entire cushion giving a visual cue that Teddylot was not to sit there. So, when the bear was finally able to free himself from the blasted net, he took a seat next to Zap. The compartment was silent for a bit. Zap took some time to think while gazing out the window. It had so suddenly gotten dark, but time flies, he supposed. The train then came to its sudden halt. Twister went flying onto the floor. Twister: Jeez, what the--? The lights flickered and were overtaken by darkness. Zap didn’t pay much attention to the suddenness of the situation even though every other student was. He figured it was simply an emergency stop. He let out his warm breath onto the window, fogging it up. He made a small smiley face on his little fog spot, but it quickly faded away. He let out another warm breath, but this time he could see his breath. The window fogged up again but it didn’t stop spreading. The fog crept along the window until one couldn’t even see the shadowy shapes made by the darkness on the other side. Zap turned off his music and pulled his headphones around his neck. Everything else had gone quiet. |

| Rushuna jumped in her seat when she heard the thud Fires made after the train stopped. She finally realized what happened.
“Oh! Yes, I’m alright, but..” She was now holding Ka'nae, who had fallen into a frozen dormant state. Using her free hand, Rushuna tried to reposition the Tarutaru into an upright position. She gave a slight nod, and decided to check out what was happening in the hallway. “This can’t be a coincidence,” thought Rushuna. “They must have stopped the train..” She popped her head out of the cabin and looked down the hall. There was nothing interesting except a very tall person with a dark cloak moving down the aisles. The shining-red head tilted her head. There was something odd about that person. It might have been the way he was moving.. Rushuna looked in the other direction. She saw more cloaked figures, but they were closer. She notices the glass on the doors were building up with more frost as they got closer. The way the figures motioned their cloaked heads made it seem like they were looking for something, or someone. Suddenly, she remembered about people she did not want to see. People she was trying to run from. She just could not stop thinking about them. And the cold. And the darkness. And the loneliness. Rushuna suddenly realized there was something wrong with their faces. "Where are their mouths?", she thought. The sight of seeing a decaying, slimey hand being outstretched from beneath the cloak did not even cause the girl to withdraw into the cabin. Something compelled her to stay there. It did not make sense why she even stood there. The constant cracking of their boney hands would have been enough to scare off someone. But she stayed. "I... can't move..." A chill ran through Rufus's body. He was ill equipped to handle the cold and began to shake uncontrollably. "Brrrrr! Smebody turn the heat up! Its freakin freezin in this cart!" The sudden trembling woke the sleeping pup. Slowly rising to his feet the puppy let out a soft yawn. Rusty looked around the cabin irritably, he had no intention of being awoken so early. His eyes panned across the cabin taking in his new surroundings, eventually his made their way to the cabin window, just as the puppy looked out the window his body began to tremble as much as his masters A shadow was cast onto the cabin as a dark being presented itself just outside the window. Dark and foreboding the creature seemed to be looking for something, the puppy began to whimper. Rufus began to feel his happiness drained from him, feeling his energy vanishing he quickly rose to his feet and with an accusing tone pointed at the apparition and yelled…. "HEY! Are you the chump that's makin it cold in my cabin?! You better cut that out right now! Don't make me go out there!!!" (edited by Kirbynite on 01-07-07 02:14 AM) |

| “Stop yelling! We don’t know what those things are. The last thing we want is to have it be aware of us and come over here”, yelled an irritated Thomas. The chill had gone down his spine and was slowly filling him with despair.
“He is right. Just leave it be. As long as it doesn’t bother us or come any closer we are fine” said Francis calmly He wrapped his arms around his body as Orion laid on his lap. Francis knew emotions were on the edge in the compartment. A blind man could see the uneasiness behind Thomas’ eyes. Thomas tried to act casual as if the air were not cold and filled with dread but Francis knew better. He felt it. He tried to rationalize but his mind was troubled with past thoughts. “Ruffy, sit down" Francis spoke in a low voice. His eyes were trained to the ground and his breath could be seen as he spoke. | Coo: Kirby… Is that.. Is that not a Lethifold? Those carnivorous cloak creatures?
Kirby rolled up his sleeves and latched onto a divider on the overhead compartment. He managed to pull his entire body into the air, and planted his feet on the wall. Coo: I say! You really can't stop being a hero! Kirby started to pull with as much strength as his body would let him. Thanks to the chilly temperature that had overtaken the train, the spiky headed lad managed to rip out the divider. Kirby: I don't go looking for trouble… Normally, a kid would have cracked his head open from doing what Kirby did, assuming the child had the strength to 'stand' on the wall. However, the boy received no injuries from his insane actions, as he thrust a hand underneath his body in time to smack the floor. The way he hit the floor allowed him to flip onto his feet. Kirby: But I won't keep quiet when I can see someone's in danger. -------------- Rushuna felt frigid tears running down her cheeks as she continued to stare at the cloaked figure. It was getting closer and closer. One of the other shadowy creatures broke off from the pack and decided to look inside one of the nearby cabins. "Leave her alone, you freak!" Once again, the blue jacketed boy shows up. He leapt out of his cabin, swinging a strange object, which had a strong white shine, into the boney beast beside besides Rushuna. A white spark was set off as the creature was clobbered on its ‘head’, causing it to glide backwards for a bit. “You’re not getting away that easily, punk!” The boy stretches out a free arm, attempting to grab the wraith-like creature. However, his hand plucked out nothing but cold air. He let out a growl as he watched the shadow hover over his head. The ceiling of the train was not that far, which meant the creature was still within the boy’s range. The boy jumped into the air and swung downward. A white spark followed by a rattling sound was released from the creature as it bounced down the hallway. A smug look was slowly forming on the boy’s face until he fell to his knees. Terror washed over his face completely as several shadowy creatures, from behind, glided around the boy. He was unable to withstand the supernatural power around him and collapsed onto the ground. Rushuna was not aware if she was actually conscious. She did not understand what had taken place. All she knew was she collapsed as well when the cloaked figures took notice of her presence. |

| Zaros watched as Kirby left the room, dropping the atmosphere of the cabin to chilling new lows. Zaros turned his attention to Kent, who was making faces of slight discomfort. Zaros hopped up and touched a round hand to Kent's forehead, easing the pain
Zaros: I dunno what's going on... but something tells me we wont be left out from this party. Minutes went by. Suddenly, the glass of the cabin door froze over, and a dark figure hovered beyond the portal. Kent's headache suddenly exploded with a flash of memories, and he rolled off the side of the seat and onto the floor, letting out a silent scream of pain only heard by Zaros. The door creaked open, and in glided a death-black towering robed figure, with a rotting hand and a dismembered face. Zaros: "Holy... that thi... thing is... Kent!" Zaros remained seemingly unaffected by the Dementor, however Kent was being assaulted by unpleasant memories. As the dementor moved closer to Kent, Zaros jumped off of the seat and landed on Kent. Overcome with some unknown force, Zaros stared up at the Dementor... way up. Zaros: "Alright, thats it. I think you've overstayed your welcome. Not that you had one" Zaros closed his eyes and pointed a hand towards the dementor. In a flash of light, a glowing silver bubble surrounded Kent and Zaros, filling the cabin with warmth and light. The dementor halted for a second, but continued towards the pair currently on the floor, stopping within hands length of the bubble. The dementor reached out a hand to grab Zaros through the bubble, but upon contact with the barrier, its hand began to dissolve. With an ear-piercing wail, the Dementor retreated backwards out of the cabin and continued down the hallway. The frost upon the glass disappeared, and the cabin regained some of its warmth. Only then did Zaros drop the protective bubble. Zaros: "Phew... Kent, we sure showed him... Kent?" Zaros looked over his shoulder to see Kent, unconscious. Zaros: "... Well crap." Zaros muttered "Is anybody out there! HELP!" |

| Guts peered out the cabin's door and looked up and down the hall. It would seem that the creatures had moved on to the other cars.
Guts: I'm going to try to find a teacher or someone.... He grabbed the collapsed forms of Kirby and Rushuna and placed them next to Kent. Then, he looked Zaros straight in the eyes. Guts: Stay here and protect these guys in case those things come back, okay? Guts pulled his duffel bag off of the luggage rack and pulled two mechanical-looking gloves out of it, putting them on as he walked out of the cabin. Guts: I hope I won't have to use these... |

| Up ahead one train car, and making his way back, Sukasa opened the door to the train car his cabin was in, and ran right into Guts. "Oh Jeez!" Gasped Sukasa. "Cripes... what's going on here? There's been more than a few yells from this cabin... Listen, I can't find a single person who knows what's going on up this way. Nor an adult... I've been the oldest person in each car so far." | |||

| Melo looked towards the hall to see Rushuna standing eerily still. "Rushuna?" No response. "Uh... Rushu-"
Rushuna fell down. Melo gasped as she hit the floor. He jumped out of his seat when someone else came by, picked her up and put her down in another cabin. He ran over to that very cabin and noticed two others were affected as well. He knelt down by Rushuna. "Hey, are you alright?" No response, which he expected but did not want. He looked up and noticed Zaros. "What the heck just happened?" |

| Coo: Kirby, snap out of it! C’mon, old boy!
A voice, muffled by the distance, was heard from a nearby cabin. ”None of us is hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks. Go." A few moments later, a fierce light shot out into the hallway. Coo saw out of the corner of his eye a shadowy creature gliding off in the same direction the previous ones went. Coo glanced at Melo. Coo: I don't understand it either. All three of them just collapsed when those.. things got near. |
