Page glitching! Annoying...
You need to find the right way from Impa's Ways. Which isn't an easy task... But with a helping map, it is.

Ahhhhhhhh. talk about a complicated dungeon! but thanks man, i finally got that cane and surprisingly enofe the impas way boss wasnt hard to find lol

Hey, to anyone who can help me, im in an ice portion of the parallel tower, and i seem to be going in circles. thanks to Tomba's help, ive gotten every item i could possibly need for the tower, and i have 4 tower keys (which i dont think have to do with getting the emerald anyway). but anyways im going in circles in the ice portion and im a bit comfused, its near where you push the statue to get a peice of heart and theres alot of wizzrobes and flying tiles. I know im supposed to get the emerald in the snow world, but i think im supposed to get the big chest key in the light world.

What the hell? That is the room I was stuck at, but there was no boss there. Also, the previous rooms have no flying tiles? Is there something I have to do to trigger it?

Link: From the heart piece chest: Go left-down-left through a closed door-down-left and fight the three worms-left-left through a closed door-left and this room is really annoying. You have to wait for all the floor tiles to end, and also kill the moldorm. I hope that help you.

Deezy: No, you aren't supposed to do anything special. However, there's a bug that may happen around that spot. When you are standing at a door, and you can see the area between the rooms and a bit of the next room, if you don't know what I mean I can show a pic, then you shall NOT go in. Because you will be teleported as if you walk through the door by pressing U+D. Do avoid this, walk to the bottom of the room and go up again. Hopefully it will be safe after that.

Blackmanta: Yes, you need the flippers. Go left from Merchant's way and left again. You will come to a place called Cannon Oasis. Go as much north as you can and you'll find a cave where you can buy the flippers.

Nep: Hmm, no... I don't think I have got anything to add yet. I'll continue with my stuff untill it's done .

Am I doing something wrong? I've tried everything to try to get past this stupid room. I've tried bomb jumping and then quick using the hammer, I've tried bomb jumping from corner to corner, I've tried looking for that invisible tile between the hammer thing and the torch, and just about everything else...But I can't seem to make any progress...How did you other people do it?

I have to say this even if people get mad at me for it but...

this game is rediculous. I understand the creator was trying to add more of a challange and I'm all for that, I've always loved to have a challange, but this is beyond that. I spent three fucking hours on that damned Nabooru's hole trying to remember which hole goes where. I finally just said screw it and looked at the map someone posted here. How the hell are you supposed to remember where over 200 holes lead to? That's not fun. That's ANNOYING. Same with this stupid bomb jumping crap. Most people who played the original ALTTP never even knew about it! I never did it until I played this game. I had to look at a website to find out how to do it. Also this game doesn't really have a sequence... It doesn't lead you on and tell you what to do. All the sudden they just stick you in the parallel world and tell you to gather the crystals....wtf? I didn't even know where to start. I am lucky to be this far.

Another thing that gets me is it doesn't carry on the tradition all the others have that when you beat a boss you obtain a heart container. It's like your reward for completing the temple and beating the boss. But in this one you have to find all the heart containers. That doesn't even carry on the tradition all the others have.

I also think some things aren't fair. Like the whole boomerang thing? If you get the blue one you can't get the red one? wtf is that and how were you supposed to know that? It would have also helped to know that if I go to Parellel World I can't go back to the regular world until the NEAR END OF THE FREAKIN GAME!

I really do think the creator went a little hog-wild in trying to make this game harder. Maybe I'm just bad at playing games but I thought some things you had to do in this game were near-next to impossible. Like I said, I'm not lazy when it comes to gaming and have always been up for a challange but this is beyond a challange. This is spending 5 hours struggling to figure out how to advance to a new area. Now...I'm basically just trying to beat it to say I did. I don't even think it's that fun anymore. It stopped being fun once I got to Parallel World. Now I've just lost interest. I just want to beat it already and have it be over with. I'm sorry about my rambling everyone. I just had to get it out. I'm sure other people might agree.

Euclid has said that this version is like a "beta version". There are a lot to be fixed and they are working with a v 2 of the game. Most of the things that you have said are going to be fixed.
And seriously... How many hacks are PERFECT? In Super Metroid Redesign you'll have to use some speedglitches to get all the items, which can be very hard to pull off. In Super Demo World you'll need to use wallglitching to get all the exits etc.
This is a "homemade" game.. It can't be perfect. But I think that Seph and Euclid have done a very good job with this one! It's quite hard sometimes, Super Demo World was hard a lot of times too. A lot of people, most of the people, are playing with save states all the time. And if it was an easy game, it would bave become waaaay too easy.

I'm in Faeore's Cave, and I'm fighting the Helmasaur King. I use the hammer to break his mask off, but the sword doesn't seem to work against the jewel on his forehead like it did in LTTP. Should I have the bow by now? If so, where can I get it?

barefootguy: Charge your sword, that works. 7 hits with the sword, and 6 hits with the hammer.

Blackmanta: Indeed there's a cave: http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g124/Tomtelala/FlipperCave.jpg

Ok, as promised, version 1.1 of my FAQ.

EDIT: Re-Released to contain corrections, additions, and formatting fixes.

This FAQ contains links to all relevant information available including videos and contains *embedded* maps for all that are available. No more searching for information!

Enjoy! And thanks to Tompa, he did most of the maps and all (I think) of the vids.

(Note that this is in .Doc format, please notify me if there are any problems.)

Euclid: I hope this is getting to meet your standards, and we can post it where deemed fit by you.

EDIT: Ok, Now I can't post it as a ZIP because I can't delete this post or post a new one.

Argh.

EDIT 2: Ok, temporary hosting.

It's available in 2 formats: Word DOC format, and straight HTML.
The HTML seems easier, but if possible please use the DOC format.

I urge you to download the DOC, as for me the first time I opened it the file just sat there not properly downloading the images. If you download and open it, the pictures will be embedded in the DOC. However using the link in your web browser will open the DOC in your web browser (IE at least..)

Here's the link to the DOC version: http://www.geocities.com/nephalim27/Parallel_Worlds_FAQ_1-1.doc

(Note that while it is a Word document, Wordpad (which is standard with Windows) CAN open this file, including pictures, but has problems with the Word margins and the formatting gets all screwy.)

And here's the HTML (fully online as a webpage) link: http://www.geocities.com/nephalim27/Parallel_Worlds_FAQ_1-1.html

Looks like I will be maintaining a text-only version still *sigh*...

I'd like to hear your thoughts at this point Euclid, and SePH.

EDIT: UPDATE: EXPLOITABLE GLITCH: LEVITATION: There is indeed a way to levitate across gaps, the A-Button/Pegasus Boots Hover Glitch, which is preformed simply by using A on turbo fire. The built-in system for this in ZSnes is too slow for it to be preformed, and you need to change the standard setting. Under Input there is an option "Turbo at 30Hz". Turn that off and it will work. The ZSnes info courtesy of Tompa.

Nice Nep. I've sent you an email about some corrections .
I just killed Ganon, second quest, it took me 19 silver arrows. I had 3 crystals, I did som A glitching to get the Crystal from Impa's Ways, or else I would have used 70 arrows I belivee. Time to kick the Final Dungeon's ASS!
