| All, sorry for being such an idiot... i am new to all this rom hacking stuff... i just love LTTP so i started playing this version. i am stuck in the light world. i finished teh 2 dungeons, and now ther re-kidnapped zelda. i can't for teh life of me figure out where they took her and how to get her back. i searched all over the guardhouse (wheere ther had here the first time) but i can't find here. could some one help me out and tell me what i am doing wrong? | |||

| Has anyone else played this hack on a copier, flashcart, devcart, etc.? (e.g. on the real SNES.) I've made two carts--one with eproms soldered directly in, and one with sockets. Both of them have issues with the title screen being all glitchy--I know now that it wasn't data corruption from heating the legs of the eproms, since it also happened in the socketed cart.
I've attached a pic. It's pretty crappy, being taken on a camera phone, but it shows the graphical issues: a thin black empty space in the background, no foreground trees, and a few random tiles on the top of the frame. (The rainbow effect is just the camera). The rom image I used works fine on SNES9x and ZSNES, so it's definitely the SNES hardware. I think. |

| @tompa: i did finish teh 3 dungeons. on teh third i didn't get a crystal, and they told me to go back to the church. there the old man dies and says that zelda was kidnapped again, and i have to save her. i just can't figure out where she is. p.s. i am still in the first quest | |||

| I think, not sure though, that you have to use the A Link to the Past U (!) rom when you patched the ips file. You did that? And did you download the emulator from the SNES 9X homepage? Or else, I don't know...
Oh, have you check so L+R/U+D is allowed? It has to. |

| yes, i have my swored tempered. i went to the castle. do i have to go throught the gaurdhouse again? or is there another way into the castle? i tried going through the guardhouse again, but i dind't find any way into the castle itself and i didn't find zelda. thjere is one door to teh castle that has an electric shield in front of it.... | |||

where can i get ruppees in the dark world? any place where i can get a fair amount preety quick, like the small chest house in the light world? My shield just go eaten and I need a new one but I am a few hundred rupees away. thanx |

| If you have taken the blue boomerang, you can find a chest with 300 rupees in the dark world forest. That's the only rupees I can think of at the moment... But I'm sure there are more in the world. | |||

| awesome! I will investigate once I am through with sheiks hideout. Also, is there a better place to load up with ferrys besides your house in the dark world? I am in the middle of sheiks hideout and I keep having to go all the way back to my house to get more ferrys. What about arrows? any good place in the dark world to load up on em? Oh, I just got the magic cape and I am curious about 1/4 magic. Where can I get this in the dark world? By the lakes in the south west corner? thanx | |||

| For those that are having trouble playing the smv file: There is a version of snes9x that can. tasvideos.org has it: look for snes9x-improvement9. I couldn't use the normal 1.43, but improvement9 worked for me. | |||

Now can anyone tell me why the hell I can't pass Sheik's dungeon, I'm stuck. I have one key, the big chest key and the tablet. I can go to 2f
 and B1
 , but I need the big door key and I can figure out where it is. WHAT AM I MISSING?

someone mentioned this game had problems with the title screen on the real snes, yes that is a known bug because I haven't finish drawing the title screen after the vblank |

| I finally did it! 20 hearts! I missed a full container in a certain dungeon in certain hidden room(s)...
That leaves me with 20 hearts and 1 piece. I know someone reported having 2 extra pieces, which make me think there are 3 pieces extra total, to fill out your inventory and make things easier as the bosses don't drop any. Attached is a picture of the inventory of a "perfect" game - except for these questionable missing pieces of heart. How high do the rupees go? 9999? It's much, much harder to have a ton of money in this game compared to LttP. Suggestion: I also have 99 Arrows and 99 Bombs, but it isn't reflected in the inventory. It should be. I have all the tablets, and am off to Ganon. I'll let you know how the "secret" goes. I think I am going to write a FAQ today. Another suggestion: Show the tablets on the status screen, and show .1 to .3 next to the tunics like the swords... (edited by nephalim on 02-04-07 01:43 AM) |

Sheesh, here I was thinking I'd gone and corrupted the rom, not knowing what other data might be screwed up, and it turns out it's a known bug. 
Perhaps the title screen should be another consideration for 2.0, hey?  |
