TechX:
Spoiler:
Hrm....So I think what I had to do was go down underneath the main area. From the entrance, take the rightmost path and warp. Work your way downstairs. Basically, you need to get to the left and right sides of the center path, that you have already taken. Man, I suck at giving directions...I just stumble through these dungeons and hope to keep advancing. Anyways, if I remember correctly, theres a room you get into on the right side where a square will fall out of the floor (the tiles drop away). One of the skulls in the room hides a button, which makes a chest appear on the left side of this area. Go down and around, I think a bomb hole, and be fast about it, before the floor tiles drop away there. HOPEFULLY thats the boss key. Otherwise...I might have to run through there again to try and find out for you.

DkCobra:
Spoiler:
Are you talking about the area where you fall down the hole, and then there are three skull pots and the tiles fall out? I already found that switch and got the chest in the room on the left side with the bombable entry. Unfortunately, the big door key wasn't there. I don't remember what was in that chest, but I think it was just a small key. Let me know if you have any luck with that, cuz I'm sure as hell not haha. Sorry to put ya through so much trouble just to help lil ol' me.

I think I'll readdress my question, just to try and see if someone chimes in or somethin like that. Has anybody found the Big Door Key in Sheik's Hideout?

I finished it, and really enjoyed it! A couple of suggestions I have though

1. I found bomb-jumping frustrating, and would like to see it limited quite a bit.

2. I like the idea of a different sound when you enter a room with a key. If possible...

3. I know some people might not want this, but I miss heart containers after beating a boss

Otherwise, great work!

Agreed with heart containers. The first few dungeons were absolute hell, but afterwards and after I got a few more heart containers in the dark world, things got a bit easier in the hearts department. Face it, the game is too chock full of enemies to skimp on hearts.

Anyways, looking for my last few keys to finish up light world parallel. Lots of fun!

Edit: I know for sure I found 2 keys in the parallel tower. Where is the third?
Spoiler:
The one im sure I got was across a dark pit with spinny floor tiles. The other im not so sure about, I think it was in a side room with a chest?

FOUND IT! WOW! So here's the lowdown for anybody else having a problem finding the big door key in Sheik's Hideout:

Spoiler:
After opening up that large chunk of dungeon space with a switch next door to the room with the mummies and helmasaur, you're supposed to fall down the pit. Then, you have to charge through the hole in the south wall (you don't completely want to forget about the hidden switch in this room, but that's for another chest) and then bomb through the southern wall directly below the hole you already made. Man, that was a gigantic pain in the ass to figure out, especially since the words "Sheik's Hideout" almost completely block the view of that crack. No offense, but that is a serious issue which needs to be taken care of...

I have gotten into the parallel world and I have a few questions:
I found the Ether medalion in Impa's Way. Do I now go and conquer the Lake Ruins? Which temple/dungeon should I attempt first? Is there anything else I should have in my inventory, before I start the next dungeon? Can I go get things like the blue tunic or the cape before this next dungeon? What I have at the moment:
13 & 1/4 hearts
Bow
Boomerang
Hookshot
Bomb(40)
Quake Medallion
Ether Medallion
Torch
Hammer
Net
Book of Mudora
Bottles (3x)
Lvl 2 Sword
Hyrule Shield
And of course all the other stuff (goron braclet, boots, flippers etc)

That is really weird. The only thing I can think of is
Spoiler:
if there is a hidden condition to getting to the final dungeon that I already had and didn't know was necessary. Maybe there's some sort of time limit to beating Ganon? Maybe you have to beat him without missing with an arrow? Maybe you need to have a certain item in your inventory (magic powder, quake/ether medallion, etc)?
There isn't really a whole lot of optional material in the second quest so I really don't know what it is. Obviously you entered the right name to get the second quest or else you would have a hookshot and more dungeons to beat. There aren't any other versions of the hack out, so that's not an issue.
For the record, Ganon should have taken exactly 70 silver arrows to kill, and I couldn't even hit him without the master sword.

Hopefully Euclid or Orochimaru will be able to tell you the real reason why you didn't get to the final dungeon. If it's any consolation, it's not very long.

I am sorry if this has been asked before. I did look around but may have missed it.
Where is the second key in saria's garden? It is killing me and I have been looking long enough I don't remember where I picked up the first one.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Has anyone found a way to open the locked doors in the waterfall cave, tried killing everything and didn't do anything.

Spoiler:
i would go to shiek's hideout next the item found there is quite helpful. It is near the dark world entrance without going through impa's way.

I've got a problem now. How do you go higher in parallel tower? I am on the fourth floor, in the ice area, and got the heart piece. Now what? How am I supposed to acsend this tower? I got past the "maze" with all of the beamos, went up a floor, and now, I am stuck in the ice room.

Csn someone just post a walkthrough on how to get to Kholdstare please?????

IodaFett:
Spoiler:
According to the clue on that floor, rooms 4, 8, and 13 all have something fake to walk through. If you count the room you started in on that floor as room 1, you should probably look for a fake door in room 4. After moving through room 4, you'll want to count the next room as room 5, disregarding the other pathway in counting completely. Whichever path you decide to take, count that room as room 6, and if that path leads to nowhere, count the first room in the next path as room 6. These aren't really exact instructions, but it should help to give you an idea of where to look for fake doors.

Spoiler:
I think I took 66 arrows to kill him... my last save was with 88 arrows and he died with 22, and I was very careful not to miss... Though, thinking about it, I vaguely recall hitting a bush on the way there that gave me +5 arrows, and I could have missed once without realizing it. And surely this is enough items? http://tinypic.com/2vxkoya.png - no hyperlink 'cause it won't show up black on the spoiler background if it's not plaintext.

I made a SNES 9x V.43 movie for the parrallel tower light world, in case some people are stuck in it. I'm using the save file I had, so some things are already done, like getting the chests, blowing up walls etc. I couldn't be arsed to get the remaining keys that I needed... So the movie ends at one of the locks.

Spoiler:
I don't know for sure that you have to beat Ganon without missing. I am sure that it took 70 arrows. I started with 99 and ended with 29.
I doubt the items in your inventory really matter. I don't know how you got the cape/red mail, I thought you need the hookshot near the beginning of sheik's hideout.
It's more likely that you have to beat him within a certain time limit. Using save states, I was able to beat him very quickly (according to game time at least). When you get to the arrow part you should be hitting him three times for every time you light the torches.
Again, this is just a theory, so it might be something else altogether. Whatever the condition was, I happened to fulfill it by accident. Only the people who made the game know, I guess.

red boomerang is in the dark world.

As for the ganon problem,
Spoiler:
the only condition was to be in second quest, the music should restart after beating him, also you might want to actually beat darunia's cavern and get the crystal because there's a condition where the silver arrows are stronger by having 1 crystal and being in the second quest. A way to check second quest is in the menu.

Couple things:

So I'm at the room in the red path in the parallel tower with the sign that says to go left to continue climbing the tower and right to get to the optional hard puzzle. I'm a bit confused though, because there are blue switch posts in the way of the puzzle.

1) Is it that the puzzle has to be solved there, and solving it lowers the blue posts, or am I supposed to lower the blue blocks, enter the room, and then solve the puzzle?

2) If the blue blocks must be lowered first, do I have to wait until I start taking the blue path up the parallel tower, or is there a way to lower those posts while I'm still taking the red path?

And on another note, I noticed an interesting little glitch in the parallel tower. When you enter the tower from the Lava Isles, light the torches and head past the closed door. If you climb the stairs across from the entrance (by using a turbo controller on the A button and walking across), not only is it possible to climb the tower along the blue path and get the silver arrows early, but if you climb back down the stairs, you are taken to floor 1F of the Sky Isles Parallel Tower. Exiting the door will take you to the Sky Isles in the Original world, but leaving that screen through the left will take you back to the Lava Isles. Weird...

The "turbo A" thing is a glitch, you can't officially get to that stair, not from there.

blue pegs will have to wait, you'll come back to it later.

TechX: The puzzle cant be reached yet, wait till you go to the light world and take the blue path. I tried it, but I dont think I have the patience for that puzzle ;D

To you, or anyone else, can I get a list of the key locations? I know I have:

Spoiler:

Outside of Tower
----------------
Church
Waterfall Cave
Rebel Base
Dark World Beach Cave
Dark World Lake Ruins
Hall of Pain

Inside Tower
----------------
Dark Pit Room
Side Room

I see a chest with the blue blocks down, but a teleporter that I cant seem to get to, or reach yet. I must be missing a key inside the tower, but where?!
