I am having trouble in Farore's Secret (just started playing second quest today). Is there just not actually a dungeon here, or what? I have the ice and fire rods, but there's nothing to do, as far as I can tell...

I am completely lost in the Parallel Tower(Snow side) on the 3rd and 4th floors. Im stuck in the room with the pots spread out over the big black pit on the 3rd floor. On the 4th floor, I keep going around in circles. What do I do?

I agree with Link's posts, although none of these things stop this from being a good, maybe great hack. the completely redone overworld was pretty capturing, especially with the snow effect, but maybe thats because i love snow. the dungeons would have been much better, i agree, with a map, i personally could do without the compass.

For example, Durunia's dungeon was just plain hell without a map, i actually drew one on paper...EVEN THEN i could not find the small key despite having been to the rooms over and over again.

I have one major suggestion: Program the game to play a tune when there's a key in the room, (WHEN YOU HAVE THE COMPASS) like in Link's Awakening. This is by far a better feature than showing the boss room, because once you walk past a boss-key-door you think "okay now i just remember where that door is and i'll find the boss easily"

And i don't even want to think about nabooru's hole again *shudders* lets just say there should be more light, and less zappers.

I went to the well of wishing in the lake ruins to get the 1/4 magic and golden sword, and afterward while I was scrolling through items I noticed an item that looked kinda like the hylian shield between the moon pearl and the golden sword that wasn't actually in my inventory. Throwing it in caused Link to hold up the Blue tunic and throw it, and then she gave it back and I had the blue tonic.

Wtf?

Alastor: I'm pretty sure there's nothing in Farore's secret except the fire and ice rods. It's a convenient way to skip the hookshot and give you what you need to climb the parallel tower.

Icheatatgolf: I like the tone in a room with a key idea, but I don't think there's any space for the compass in the inventory. Maybe if the tablets did that? That would only work on levels that have them, but the ones that don't have room in the inventory for something with the same function.

So I beat Sheik's Hideout, just for the hell of it and to get the red tunic. Not sure if... You were supposed to be able to do that. Eh. I have managed to fail to do several other dungeons, though D:

I'm guessing I just need to hop on by Darunia's for the cane of somaria now.

Mrtame, it does indeed get darker as night approaches. I remember when this hack was in development and that fantastic addition was produced.

I also like how Link wakes up at 10:00 like a proper late-sleeping young person and not 8 AM!

A further interesting hack would be to have Link weaken if he's been out adventuring for more than, say, 12 hours. Have the enemies take off more HP the longer Link's gone without resting.

I just wanted to post another glitch that I found that can be fixed in the update. In Saria's garden if you walk out the door (which is open) during the boss fight the game freezes. I think just having the door close would be sufficient.

In Darunia's cavern, the Armos Knights hopped downward through the south wall, causing the doors to open without my having to fight them.

Thanks for the glove location. Really like the hack, Thanks guys. LTTP is my favorite game so this is what I've been waiting for. 2.0 should fix my only issues, (backtracking, dungeon design). Im not a walkthrough kinda player but I do think this would benifit from a proper FAQ at some point. It's kinda hard at times

Spoiler (Still lost): I need the hookshot to reach the gloves in din's catacombs right? Isn't that in the 3rd dungeon. I've looked for it on sky isle but I can't seem to get anywhere without the gloves. I know Im overlooking something simple but whats the proper order to get gloves lvl 1, hookshot, 3rd dungeon. And how to go about doing it, cause I can't figure it out. While Im at it, whats the deal with that waterfall "dungeon" place with the unlightable torches. I got past all the obsticles but Im stumped as to the point and how to open those doors.

Spoiler:
You dont need the hookshot to get the powergloves in the catacombs. The hookshot area leads to a secret area. You get the Powergloves, then you go to the sky isles wher ethe 3rd dungeon is and get the hookshot there.

I'm stuck until I can find the hookshot. I've gotten past the parallel tower, yes, but I need the hookshot to get one of the keys needed for the blue path...

I'm completely stumped on what to do here. The hint says to bomb jump it, but I just don't see how to do that -- the moles are in the way. Can anyone help me?
