So I finally beat my way through Ruto's Temple, and was all set to tackle the Parallel Tower again, since I'd finally picked up the last Crystal...

But after the conversation with the Crystal, upon exiting the dungeon, the screen goes black and the game locks up. And I saved state during said conversation. Luckily I load from the menu, I'll just have to beat the dungeon again, but... just wanted to point out this bug. Not sure if anyone else has experience it yet?

This game really has become more fun now that that Guardhouse ordeal is over. I still think the Guardhouse would make a great final dungeon rather than in introduction.

I solved the invisible bridge in Nayru's Bay through dumb luck. None of the methods I tried (placing bombs and seeing if they fell down, etc.) worked. What's the "real" solution?

I've also come to a cave near the Pyramid where there are three switches and a little magic-draining enemy nearby. I've tried many combinations of pulling these, or leaving them un-pulled, and nothing happens. Is there a clue somewhere?

I believe the "real solution" to the Nayru's Bay bridge involves the use of save states . The pyramid cave, as far as I can tell, is only there so you can get a key for later. The plungers serve no purpose, unless maybe in
Spoiler:
the second quest

Also, for anyone who has beaten the game
Spoiler:
have you found any tablets outside of the 7 ice world dungeons? According to the end screen, there are tablets in the guardhouse sewers, draegor's castle, the first three dungeons, and 2 in the parallel tower. I really don't feel like looking through all of them unless they are confirmed to be there. I've already looked through the guardhouse sewers and found nothing, so if they exist they're really well hidden. Has anyone figured out what the tablets do yet? If Orochimaru or Euclid could answer that would be awesome.
Has anyone found the bombos medallion or shovel yet?

nope. im guessing they are only in the second quest. also, there are no tablets in these areas that you mentioned. only the 7 dark world dungeons.

I think there might be a tablet through the really obscure puzzle on floor six of parallel tower through the blue door. I have no idea how to get past it.

I've got two questions:

1. Where is the Boss in Nabooru's Hole?

2. Where is the Big Key in Sheik's Hideout?

Can someone help me please?

If you won't take the time to make a quick scan through the thread for relevant data (which has been posted several times now), why should I?

I'm on the second quest, and I have a few questions:

Spoiler:
In Farore's Secret, is there anything more than the two Rods? And after beating Draegor and going into the Parallel World, I went into Impa's Ways, and got the big chest. It was the Ice Rod. I'm guessing that's not supposed to happen.

Edit: I just noticed this hack got a post on Joystiq.com. Nice job, although I didn't see any specific names mentioned. We may see a lot more people playing this game now.

No, definitely not, if you're referring to the "very hard optional puzzle." It's actually pretty easy compared to a lot of the other puzzles in the game. All you have to do is
Spoiler:
hit a certain spot in the wall with the hammer (the part that you can hookshot to) and go through to the next room. The puzzle in that room can be beaten with the hammer, hookshot, and boots. All you get for it is a full heart container, though.
The only hard part about it is that the floor disappears, so you kind of have to restart the tower once you solve it

Icheatatgolf: How do you know there aren't tablets in all the places it mentions on the end screen?
Also when I said I looked really hard in he guardhouse sewers I meant in the second quest. I still didn't find anything. i would still prefer some official confirmation from Euclid or something before I continue the second quest, since I can't get back into the sewers later.

Hello, I am enjoying this hack a lot, but I am not sure where to go next so I am requesting a bit of help. (And yes I have read through this entire thread, couldn't find any help)

I've beaten the boss in Din's Catacombs and acquired the Big Chest Key, but it seems I need hookshot to go any further. I've heard I need to go to Farore Isle next, but where the heck is that? And do I get the hookshot there?

Do I need to have the glove at this point as well? If so can somebody point me in the right direction?

The Hookshot isn't needed in Din's Catacombs. I actually haven't explored that area yet.

To find the Big Chest, go into one of the long vertical rooms, and bomb the wall on the left.

Hah, there's a mushroom after it, you missed the secret path.

... Speaking of, can I get a RAM hacker to take a savestate and remove the magic powder from my inventory?

if you go to Euclid's faq page (found in the readme) he tells you there are only 7 tablets. trust me. the dark world dungeons are the only dungeons that have them.

Here is a cheat file for those who need/want it. Since I couldn't upload it as .CHT (ZSNES uses this, not sure about SNES9x) I zipped it.

So far it has almost all of the items. It also has Max Hearts, Max Magic, Max Rupees. Not to mention Full visibility (no more stupid torch rooms huzzah)
