* Are you ready for a brand new adventure?
* Are you ready to play a whole new zelda 3 game, with completely new
dungeons and overworlds?
* Are you ready to find the secrets of the Parallel Worlds?

Parallel Worlds is a fully hacked version of Zelda 3 (aka A Link to the Past).
A majority of the game has been changed. There may be a few rooms which can be
said to be similar to some from the original game.

General changes involve:

* Brand new Overworlds, I promise you won't find an area which is unchanged!
* Brand new Dungeons, all dungeons are completely different from the original!
* New house indoors and caves, some of these you may find similar to the
original game.
* New Graphics, a lot of the graphics have been changed.
* New Screen layout, similar to Ocarina of Time yet not exactly the same.
* Some new music, the original game had great music, these are not to be
changed
* New Story, while some maybe similar to the original game, but
it's intentional.
* A lot of other changes, and surprises!

This is a result of 4 years (maybe 5) of "behind the scenes" hard work, lots
of assembly hacks and fixes etc. This game was known as Tower of the Triforce
which some people may remember, when I released a demo from that game a few
years ago. When SePH joined the team a majority of the things from that hack
was taken over into this hack, so spiritually it's still the Tower of the
Triforce (to me that is).

This game is difficult. Believe me when I say it is. You'll need to have every
trick from the original game memorized plus more to beat this.

Puzzles are everywhere in this game. Some dungeons are more puzzle oriented,
while some dungeons are more fighting oriented. I try to keep a balance
between the two in some dungeons.

While there isn't much enemy changes, there are a few, which I'll let the
player find out by themselves.

There is tons of secrets in this game... some are original while some are just
brought over from other zelda games.

That's it for a brief introduction... we hope you enjoy playing this game!

Awesome Euclid, totally awesome. I'm going to play through this one slowly, to get full effect.

Congratulations on being the first!

Freaking YES

Will definitely play this through slowly. I've been waiting for a full LTTP hack for so long...

I've just started playing, and I can already see some of the amazing changes!
I'm impressed with things like the text saying where you are and the listing of ammo amount on the item box.
Congratulations!

Wow. This looks awesome. I'll enjoy playing this as a change from all the SMW hacks I've been playing lately. I applaud you for the time and skill you spent on this massive project.

Based on the little I've played so far and what's been said on IRC, this looks hard. I'm looking forward to playing more! (But not tonight. I'm going to bed.)

Looks nice...
Just played through the intro... Nothing much to say yet apart from the fact the text would need to be fixed/polished. "Only one remain*s*" (end of intro)... Also, you should uppercase all the "I".

Amazing! Finally an actually complete hack for LTTP. I have been waiting for this to be released for so looong time.

I just tested this for a couple of minutes and I have to say that even though the overall look is fantastic, the grammar is bad. It's very burdening to read text with some basic errors in almost (maybe I'm exaggerating ) all sentences. I think you should hire some native english-speaker from the community to check the game monologue.

But aside from that, the hack or should I say the new game looks and feels amazing, and I'm sure I will enjoy this for a long time.

We'll probably release a future update to all those mispelling errors, aswell as critical bugs as long as they're reported..

It's awesome so far. Bit stuck trying to find how to get to sharashala at the docks though, but I'm sure I'll work it out sooner or later.

I have noticed a little color palette bug... In Nayru's bay, those insect-like enemies that come out of the sand... At first, their sand color was right (yellow/brownish, I think), then as I did more stuff in the bay (passed the water part, got the hammer and stuff), the sand ended up turning glitchy green.

Edit: another bug: the butterfly-like boss of Nayru's bay... His 3-way shoots only seem to work in a first time. Then they become 2-way shoots, then he doesn't shoot anything anymore (but the shooting sound remains).

Edit 2: also, some places feel like they teleport you too early. Like some large cave entrances come to mind, you get inside of them whereas you didn't physically enter them yet.

Edit 3: the large falling hand at Din's catacombs was grey at first, then at some point it turned orange and blue.

Edit 4: Going to the west from the Karakiro village (through Lupo Quarry), go up and back to the right. You'll be in front of a cliff with a house downstairs. Jumping off there will make Link get into the house, which is wrong. You don't get stuck though...

Incidentally, I feel I should mention that "Sahasrala" was amistranslation on Nintendo's part. I believe he was, instead, supposed to be named for the Sahasrara chakra despite the obvious lack of any -other- bhuddist references in the series...

Great Game so far. I played through the guard house and I rescued Zelda. But it was not as easy as in the original game.

That Armos Knight fight was just unfair! No bow? Or is it possible to have it at that point and I missed it?

Ah, weel. Still a great game. Short dungeons though, if the first is any indication.

The fact that this screenshot is even possible without exploiting any bugs is testament to the poor design.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game up until I got to the Guardhouse.
Then I spent about an hour and a half like this:

Oh, look, there's a locked door.
*runs around and finds a key*
*unlocks the door, continues forwards*
Oh, look, there's another locked door.
*goes back to the beginning of the level*
*runs around and finds a key*
*unlocks the door, continues forwards*
Oh, look, there's another locked door.

So far, in an hour and a half, (the half being actual gameplay, the hour being pointless, annoying backtracking), I have found four locked doors, three small keys, and one big key.

You'll also notice from the screenshot that, using key #3, I unlocked door #4. So now I have Zelda, but no sword or shield. Again I say the fact that this is even possible = poor design.

Add to this the fact that the big chest (which I can only assume is there purely for decoration) is ignoring the fact that I have the big key (which can be clearly seen in my inventory), and the fact that I have no $#*&(& clue where the fourth key is..

Yeah. So, I give the overworld design an 8.5 out of ten, and the dungeon design gets a 0. Please try again.
