Did you hear the latest gossip yet? They have been calling the discovery of this thing "TXT files" a revolution and proclaimed "Web 9.0". It is said to have awesome capabilities like being able to store any type of data and allowing users to determine important aspects like the background colour or font used on their own! They are also said to use a cunning algorithm to represent characters with single-byte codes which are converted into text using a special image table. I imagine this can come in quite handy, seeing as the MPAA is about to pass a law that bans civilian broadband connections in order to battle piracy of the new "Holy F*ck Definition" format movies. Now isn't that awesome? Though I somehow get this feeling I've already seen that before, long ago... I blame the caffeine pills.

Welcome to the Channel 6 news at 6.

And, in some disturbing news, Fuhrer Daniel, emperor of the Eisztadt and Neo Germany, along with his advisor Prime Minister, the Canadian-born Lord Allan James Stanley, have declared war on the United Pirate Federation and the semi-autonomous state of Canadia, calling it "an act of justice for what happened 12 years ago".

As you can see in these images, what was once the city of Henderson, Nevada, now lies in smoldering ruins after an air strike with micro-hydrogen bombs completely leveled the city, leaving roughly 15 million dead and many more injured in the Nevada region alone.

Similar attacks have been occurring in California, and the independent micronation of Québec. Specifically, the fortress Acmillia suffered a full nuclear strike, resulting in the total loss of servers and communications for virtually all of Canadia. The president of Québec, Jean-Francois Lapointe, was captured by the Eisztadian special forces and taken to one of their bases for "questioning." We can presume his likely death.

Huh---What the-! Nooo! *explosions*

AcmlmBoard 2.0 finally came out yesterday, I thought it'd never happen at this rate, but it was worth the wait

Final Fantasy XXX was fun too, although it's rated M for some reason ... maybe it's because only mature people can handle 4D graphics

And damn, I just saw the specs for the upcoming Windows 2019 ... you'll need something like a 32-core 10GHz processor, 128GB RAM, 10TB disk space and DirectX³ (DirectXXX) 16.1 support just to run it, since it got 4D graphics ... I think I'll stay with good old Windows Vienna, maybe even Vista would still be better as old as it is now

It'll be my 35th birthday soon, too

I'd like to take part in this thread, however I was killed two months ago in a horrific potato gun related accident. It was a closed casket funeral.

The world wasn't doing too good before I left it though. The polar ice caps had melted and the Tennessee coast was constantly being battered by hypercanes. And don't even get me started on those damn dirty apes. On the upside, we seem to be making progress in Iraq.

Back when I was a kid, we didn't have these fancy "secure" messageboards. We got hacked sometimes, and you know what? We liked it, damn it! And we had to walk uphill in the snow to get to our computers!

Oh, wait, I'll only be 30.

Just out of boredom, I grabbed a copy of Madden '18 the other day. Oddly, it didn't have an instruction manual...

Damn my feeble senses.

You get used to being dead, you know?

Anyway, I've got my hands on a copy of Starcraft 2.

Finally.

*Alice 's maid flips his brain to "On"*

OK, that's better. One of the downsides of these silly implants, lean the wrong way and you go senile. But hey, the camera-eye thing is awesome either way.

Hey, did anyone see the Blurnsball game last night? That was liek totally ftw! lol, like NE1 says that NEmore?

Oh and I heard DOA Xtreme Volleyball 42 is out now. Apparently they've made signifigant progress on improving the hands-free control mode. All in the name of science, of course, because that technology might be useful for something else some day!

I'ma teleport down to the Unimall on Earth now and pick up some authentic Italian food, maybe check out the Bush Idiocy Museum in The State Formerly Known As Alabama, stop by Old Japan to check out the video games, and if I have time I might hang out in Walmart City, NY for a while. All from one convenient linked building! Why back in my day we had to walk uphill both ways through blinding snow and wind...

That reminds me, I found a bug. When you're in the lobby, if you poke at that hole in the wall, your custom face gets deleted.

Final Fantasy XXX was fun too, although it's rated M for some reason ... maybe it's because only mature people can handle 4D graphics

Well those 4D graphics are really something, but I think it's because of all that adult content. I mean, you can use weapons in that game! And attack things! Much too violent for children. Or at least that's what the ESRB says.
Though IMO, the game would have been better if a little less than 70% of the viewing area were occupied by Tsuya's breasts. I mean it's pretty hard to use the menus when you can't see them.

I still use XP. I'm planning to move to Linux eventually though.
And those are the minimum specs. We're talking at least 256GB ATSTRAM and a 40TB supercooled hyperdrive to get any decent performance out of it, especially with all that DRM and Windows Movie Maker 93.1 (which still crashes on saving ) hogging up all the system resources. Not to mention a 64GB voxel-shading hypercube-mapping video card with onboard springle reticulator and flux capacitor if you want to use the AppPole interface. FFS 4D graphics have no place in an operating system.

Anyway yeah, going now. *Alice 's model vaporizes just like the enemies do in Mega Man LXI*

...Crap, I'm still logged in. And invisible. Can someone go give that server a good swift backthwap?

I was too, holy fuck.

Well, I got my new implants today, which should help me in debugging my new program. Also, I got my new computer, really cutting-edge for once! 128-core 12Ghz. 1GB L1 cache, Dimension-Threading, you name it, it's got it. It shoudl be able to run that new windows pretty well, although I think I'll get Linux this time. I hear UltraBuntu 2 is pretty good! Oh, and that bug HH mentioned happened to me, too. I'm thinking of visiting Alpha Centauri, before taking a stroll down Virtual Alley later this evening. Anyways, gotta go, my Megawave just finished cooking dinner. *real* Centeurosaur tonight, so I'm real excited. Ciao!

Gah...the same glitch keeps popping up all over the place...why I decided to do this I'll never know.
I probably should've stuck to hacking the original Legend of Zelda and enhancing it instead of this true-life version.

Yeah, we got The Legend of Zelda: Tribe of Space now, and it just won't accept edits...
Hacking this is like suicide in heaven...it just can't be done.
