No other option? This poll fails ;|

Anyways, my favorite nintendo series is a two-way tie between Pokemon and Mario, though when I say Mario I really just mean the Mario games of old. I havn't been terribly impressed with any of the newer stuff I'm affraid.

Kirby: never really played any of these games...
Zelda: played the 1st Zelda game when I was a kid....hated it.
Metroid: see Kirby

So I guess my vote goes for Mario. Honestly, I left Nintendo after my NES blew up, but since getting the DS and a Wii, things are changing.

Ah, another incredibly weird poll for the books.

Why is Kirby on this? Hasbro may be 2nd party, but they're still not purely Nintendo. If you put Kirby up there you may as well put Lolo up there.

Anyways, I won't vote. I can never decide what my number 1 favorite Nintendo series is, but it always falls between Link to the Past and Super Metroid. So I like both Zelda and Metroid more than just about anything else out there.

With my current Metroid obsession, It's a tie between Metroid and Zelda.
LoZ > Metroid, Link's Awakening > Metroid II, A Link to the Past = Super Metroid, Minish Cap < Metroid Fusion, Wind Waker < Metroid Prime
That even comes out even.

Since when did Hasbro make Kirby please tell me you really meant to type HAL. Right? Right?

Yes, it sure does.

I really like the Donkey Kong series, mostly because of the DKC games for the SNES. Those 3 games are some of my most favorite games of all time.

If I had to choose from what is on the poll right now, I'll go with Mario since I grew up with his old school games along with the DKC games.

DKC was the first game I ever played. They were soooo great. But now we have DK Bongo Blast and Donkey Konga. In other words, Nintendo made DK into a bongo-gimmick series. Look at all of his GC games and you will see my point.

Holy beans.

Yes, I meant HAL. Hey, at least I got the first letter right.

But yeah, my point still remains.

Mario. I remember going to my cousin's house when I was little and playing Super Mario All-Stars... and it was amazing. I'm starting to like Zelda more than I used to, but Mario still wins. For now.

The inclusion of Kirby means you would have to include, like, a billion other things.

Pokemon. F-Zero. Mario Kart. Mario Sports. Mario Party. Donkey Kong. Smash Bros. Fire Emblem. Advance Wars. These are just things I can think of off the top of my head. There's likely way more and... Augh. The poll is just fail.

I'm voting Smash Bros.

I've never met a Metroid game I didn't like (though I've met a couple I never got around to finishing). It gets my vote for all around coolness, although Mario is great fun.

Zelda, I've never cared for as a series. The NES games never really captured my interest, LttP and Awakening were okay, but Oracles and the N64 games just didn't do it for me.
I did, however, enjoy Minish Cap, and I'm having a good time with Wind Waker, which I just got the other day. Looking forward to Twilight Princess when I have a Wii to play it on, too.

As for Kirby, well. The games are fun, but I haven't really played many of them, and the ones I have played, I didn't play very much. I should fix that sometime.

Yay, failing thread!

Mario FOR THE WIN! My very first game was actually Super Mario World (along with a Bugs Bunny game... ). Metroid is in close second, along with Pokemon, Kirby, Zelda, Bomberman, Sonic, and a lot of other games. XD I could tell you more, but then I'd get one giant post....

The fact that you listed Sonic as a Nintendo series makes me cry so very hard deep within the depths of my soul. Wow.

Same here. I was pissed and sad the day I saw Sonic shake hands with Mario.

I don't mind old games like Adventure 2: Battle being rereleased.

But the fact its on Nintendo is...um...I dunno. I liked Dreamcast and such...

And Sonic Heroes was a crappy demo. Never bothered to get it. That's why I now dislike Sonic and his gang.

Once again, the mindless goons forget to include the Donkey Kong series. But, seeing as Nintendo doesn't give two shits about him, I guess it's okay to not include him. It was Rare Ltd. who changed him for the better; the Arcade DK was just a King Kong clone, and the current Nintendo DK is an agressive shit-for-brains. But then again, Nintendo owns Rare's DK characters (yet they didn't use them in DK's GCN adventure!). Note that Paon developed DK King of Swing, and that Nintendo developed Jungle Beat.

So in all, I guess I'll go with Mario, since in my eyes, I still see DK as Rare/Paon's property.
