Am I the only one who thinks this is game is really f*cking awesome?

I wasn't expecting much from it after Liberty City Stories, since it was quite feature-lacking; Toni doesn't get to use any flying vehicles (it was still an excellent game, though), but VCS really surpassed my expectations, like being able to swim, and buy propety and decide what kind of business to make it into.

The storyline is fantastic; I love the idea of starting off on the west side, and the missions are really fun and original. I just got onto the Ocean Beach / Vice Point side of the city this morning and I'm loving all of the new stuff added, like the helicopter at the safe house, and the amusement park with the ferris wheel.

The only thing that's looking like it won't come up is the ability to buy existing businesses like you could in GTAVC, like the Malibu and the Ice Cream warehouse. The feature to buy buildings and make it into whichever of the 6 businesses should make up for it, although the missions you do for them are kinda boring and repetetive.

So anybody else have this or are you all anti-non-Nintendoist?

I almost bought it.. but then I heard it was the glitchiest game since glitch hit glitchtown.

It looks awesome though and I loved the original VC so I might have to go out and buy it.

This is the first I've heard that this game has any glitches. I've heard it from other hand held games, but not this one.

And its been selling heaps ever since it came out too, so thats a good sign.

Wikipedia used to have an entire page devoted to GTA VC Stories glitches but it has since been taken down..

Here's one that was still on the site.

"There are a number of bugs in the game, in which one of the most evident is when coming upon a empire site, most of the times at a high speed, the buildings model and high resolution textures do not load right away, allowing the player and any subsequent vehicles to go 'inside' the empire building, but eventually getting stuck after the meshes load. This glitch also leads to many reports of cars spawned inside of empire sites."

Truly, a relatively minor glitch must be the greatest, most deadly glitch ever to glitchly hit glitch town since glitch.

Obviously you didn't read what I said, probably too busy trying to be a smartass. The game has its glitches, it's on PSP so really what can one expect. I think that if Sony had to release a firmware patch because of the massive amount of glitches in the game, there had to be something wrong with it. But look, Plus sign, if you really wanna be an ass.. here you go

Glitch discussion

I wouldn't be surprised it's glitchy. Every game these guys have made, all the way back to Space Station: Silicon Valley on the N64 when they were called DMA, has been about as buggy as Windows 95.
