Ok,
I am a 4.0 student. I dont really do anything wrong...... One day, this past week, a certain teacher just, out of the blue, accuses me of cheating off another student. I do NOT cheat, but do not want to go and complain to the teacher, for that would seem like it would make the teacher like me less What should I do?? |

If that's a problem, or if you feel intimidated, then get your parents into it as well. It shouldn't be a problem after that, if things go correctly. |

I've had this happen to me once. The thing you need to do is not try to make a big scene in front of the entire class. Teacher's having their authority challenged in front of their students will get very defensive and offended. What I did was go in after class was over and talk to him about it. I was in the same situation as you, straight As and I was very offended that he accused me of cheating. I told him that, and he seemed to understand. But yeah, being accused of cheating is a big deal and not something that you should just roll over to. In a much more serious situation, my friend got accused of plagerizing on one of his final papers by his TA in a philosophy course. He didn't plagerize but the TA had told the professor about it and the three of them got together and talked about it. Regrettfully for my friend, the teacher had a little too much faith in his TA but decided that he wouldn't fail him but instead gave him a C- (in the course, he still failed him on the paper), a huge hit from the A- he was pulling going into the final. My friend still hasn't forgiven that TA. | |||
