I NEED A SMB3 Text editor. No MSDOS ones. I hate em. I Had one and I type the path to the SMB3 Rom. And it showed a Happy face and my computer beeped and the happy face said. DELETING FILES. Some one, Hook me up with a SMB3 Text editor.

I guess you need a hex editor, then? Well...a lot of people here use Hex Workshop. Google it.

Well, since you're still here, evidently it didn't delete files...

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Sounds like it was a practical joke app someone planted on you.

I figured I'd let you know, DOS programs make up the majority of hacking programs.

HEX workshop is a DOS program

Translextion is my prefered HEX editor. It is Win32 and can be found at zophar.net.

By the way I recommend you try hacking ONE game at a time, I saw your question
in SMW hacking.

UZI, it's good that you ask questions, that's what most message boards are for. However, you shouldn't ask for something that is actually really easy to find, even for n00bs.

Anytime you want to find something, look it up at google.com. If you don't know how to do that, we really can't help

XK, next time make sure that it starts deleting from the root somehow. Maybe you should write it C:\* instead of just * at the end.

You know, get a hex editor. There is no need for a text editor, as it can be simple done in a hex editor.
