Who else wants to nominate this guy for Douche-Bag of the Universe Award?
This is all just a ploy by a person with close ties to the gov., but doesn't have a position , to try and get rid of civil liberties and the god given rights to all humans...Life, Liberty, Property. Although property isn't really affected here, life and liberty are. To me this seems like another chance for a bigoted aristocrat to try and force his views on others...

Take that as you want.

I can understand if phytoestrogens have side effects, maybe even related to hormones and stuff... but saying that it turns people gay is probably stretching it.

The only "side effect" I seem to have found any evidence of is that there is a possibility men who consume phytoestrogens may have a decreased risk of prostate cancer.

The only thing that seems to be correct is that soy products do contain phytoestrogens... then it makes a fairly big leap in "logic" from there. There's no evidence at all that phytoestrogens or estrogen have such effects upon men. Men naturally produce estrogen anyway (and women naturally produce testosterone)

Since there is no proof of it actually causing homosexuality, I reiterate my previous statement:

Building off of what has already been said. Even if soy really did create homosexuality, who is to say for someone else that it is bad? Homosexuality has been around since ancient greece and the Spartans. It "died off" and then came back. Only now are we soo concerned about it. The main problem that is against it is the fact that it is against our Presidents religion; however, the separation of church and state alone should get rid of this.

Face it everyone, our country is run by fascist bigots who only want what is best for themselves. Emerson once said, Right and wrong are easily transferable to that or this, the only right is what is after my own constituion, the only wrong; what is against it. Just because a person is in power doesn't mean that he can force his opinions onto others. Thoreau once said that the only good government was a government with a conscience, the only way for a government to have a conscience was for the people in it to have consciences, not to be run by the thoughts of one man, *cough* Bush *cough*

Uh. Me, and probably lots of other people, because the vast majority of people in developed and developing nations eat soy and if it did then that would be most people not reproducing, therefore causing a sharp decrease in world population.

Which would actually benefit the world, because it's overcrowded and overloaded by our dirty industry and the waste caused by all those people. I mean, sure, sharp decreases would be BAD, but if one could magically level off growth, it might actually be good.

However that isn't proven, and you took my statement differently then I had intended...
Intention was that people are trying to force their opinions on others while we need to keep our own consciences and think for ourselves.

Whenever I look at this thread, I can't help but think of Demon Hunting.

In October 2000, a friend fell and broke some bones in her foot. She also had a place where the skin was broken and this area got infected. As she was seeking the Lord, a friend of hers called and said that she had been attached by a spirit (demon) called THE TERMINATOR.

Paisley print is something you see on ties, shirts, blouses, dresses, curtains, rugs, furniture, etc. If you wear it, you may be carrying around some demons, which could be the cause of some of your "problems". The paisley print looks like a giant COMMA (as in English - Dear Sir, (comma).

I want to give you some information about two demons that were recently revealed to me. The first one's name is "GYROMANCY". GYROMANCY is appearing on the new FRUITOPIA bottled fruit drink. GYROMANCY is a COIL like the coil on your electric stove. GYROMANCY'S design is to keep you moving in "circles", so you never accomplish your goals. GYROMANCY is the COIL inside the picture of the palm readers hand. GYROMANCY is the COIL that hypnotists have you stare at to put you OUT. GYROMANCY unlike the gyroscope tries to keep you OUT OF BALANCE. The Lord showed me that GYROMANCY, is on the "belly" of the POKEMON figures that are recently being released in BURGER KINGS. POKEMON in Japanese means "POCKET MONSTER". These little toys come in all shapes, one is a UNICORN, there are gold plated tokens and secret boxes to place the figures in which draws the children to buy them. I have heard children in stores, BEGGING their parents for POKEMON gameboys, videos and games... THIS IS OUT OF CONTROL... (TAKE A BREATH)

The "DARK BLUE" POKEMON figure has a COIL on his belly. The COIL is the OPEN DOOR to the DEMONIC WITCHCRAFT attack being brought into homes. The COIL is also appearing on the BURGER KING sacks at present and I am seeing this COIL on many products in the store.

Yep.
Serious business.

Umm, wow, just plain wow.....But yet another opportunity for someone to impose their beliefs onto another.....This actually reminds of a kid I go to school with, I won't say his name but he was always saying to me that my church was bad and that his was infinitely better then mine and how his pastor was better then mine and how his was always right while mine was always wrong....People like that annoy me for the simple reason, he isn't thinking, his pastor was thinking for him....

P.S.: Soy sauce is fine. Unlike soy milk, it's perfectly safe because it's fermented, which changes its molecular structure. Miso, natto and tempeh are also OK, but avoid tofu.

I like on how on the buttom Demon Hunting page there is a link saying "DO YOU NEED SKIN CARE OR MAKEUP PRODUCTS?" that leads to something called soaring-eagles.net.

Ahaha.

Ahahahahaha.

I fail to see how phytoestrogens make people gay. According to Wikipedia, they'd only reduce testosterone levels and possibly affect fertility, slightly 'feminizing' the organism, not affecting the mind.

This is just like the DHMO bullshit a while back. It would have been golden had they also made a "connection" between DHMO and homosexuality

This just goes to show what happens when Dr. Crock Pot, Ph.D.TM tries to scare people into their scams with false experiments and research. Sadder still is that a lot of people fall for it

See, and I always though it was Teletubbies and orange juice commercials that were turning kids gay.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that in proper moderation phytoestrogens are supposed to help block the effects of stronger human estrogen. At least that's why soy's promoted as a way to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Maybe the effect is different in men.

Either way, even human estrogen doesn't make men gay. Gender and sexuality are determined by a combination of hormones and genetics. As shown in failed gender assignment cases.

What's so stupid about this is that this is all stuff this guy just came up with in his head, yet he writes about it as if its established fact.

I don't even think this can be called pseudoscience, its not even pretending to be real science. No, this looks more like a text book example of undiagnosed mental retardation.
