That's...an incredibly descriptive error.

Sorry, but there's probably not much any of us can do with so little information.

See that "Mail bug report" button? You should probably click on it.

That happens to me, too. For those of you who need more description: When you click on the icon to open SMB3 Workshop, the menu that BlueCar posted shows up. The program doesn't work. Personally, I don't find it all that incovenient to just download it every time I want to use it, because for me it always works the first time I open it.

Crap, I just noticed that the "Mail bug report" function was set to use an email address that has been mostly inoperational for months now, so I haven't received any bug reports for a while. Anyway, the problem with crashing on startup doesn't occur here. Anyone mind copy-pasting the bug report (click "Show bug report") and posting it here so I can see what's wrong?

I had this problem too. Only I figured it out after 5 seconds because I had never taken SMB3W out of it's folder.

If all of the components of SMB3W arn't in the same folder it can't start.

BlueCar, Andrew got it right - it seems to me that you've actually made a copy of the SMB3WS executable on your desktop instead of a shortcut. Thus the program can't find its necessary data files and crashes.

Use the Mario Improvement 3 for DOS verison if you can't hant handle M3 Workshop. I still use that for some reason even though I use the Windows version.

You can still use it. On XP, it's a bit harder though.

If you can run games from cereal boxes you can use DOS programs. For the longest time I couldn't use dos because some program was in the wrong folder. Eventually I put it back and I could use DOS.
