My friend campaigned World AIDS Awareness Day around my school, so I heard all about it. 8,000 people die every day from AIDS. I do what I can with it, donate when I can, and promise to not get it and help spread it. HOORAY. |

Also, lol at the implication that we haven't done a good job fighting AIDS. The majority of people don't have it, and that's good, really. Just imagine what would happen if back in the early 80s people ignored it

| The awareness level is getting there but there's still a lot of people who aren't aware of AIDS, malaria, TB among other diseases and their implications. Not to mention the toll they are taking in Africa especially. I hate to repeat myself over and over but the life expectancy is in the 30s in some of those places! | |||

| It's amazing, I actually did a report on AIDS in South Africa for my research project. It was unbelievable how many people actually have it, and how unaware alot of the people in the world are. World AIDS days will hopefully spread a little bit of awareness around the globe, an excellent thing if you ask me. | |||
