I don't normally click on banner ads but this ad on go-girly.com caught my attention.

Do you reconize the colorful squares on the sides of the text? You probably should because these squares appear here, here and here!

Somebody took my 12-bit color Splouch and made a devoted website for it, or at least it follows the same "use mulitbles of 17 plus 0 to make 12-bit easily compadible with 24-bit" rule I used for it. I don't know if someone saw my thing and felt imspired or if this this is just coinsidence. But still!

You must ask yourself these questions three:

1. Do we care?
2. Do you really care?
3. What is the capital of Assyria?

Also I have to point out that it's "multiples" not "multibles". you've been driving me crazy ever since that first color "splouch" thread. I don't even think splouch is the right word, but I can't think of the word that is correct that sounds similar.

"Splotch", I'd guess.

And this topic has a point, because I've had a similar thing happen to me.

see here.

That Bean 'n' Badge transcript that is there is, word for word, the same one that *I* wrote over a year ago on GameFAQs. (Someone had requested it in a topic, and I made it for them.).

The difference that I can see between me and Ten's scenario is that I was happy when I saw that someone thought my work was good enough to copy word-for-word, heh. (admittedly, they could have just been lazy, but still)

I could understand if it was a more complicated graphic, but it's a ... color square.

No offense, but seriously, who cares? Chances are t isn't even yours, since those things are pretty damn easy to make.

I think the word you're looking for is "swatch," but unless that means something computer-related that I don't know about, it's still not quite the right word. A color swatch, as I know it, is a sample of one color. Maybe he's made up the term 'splouch' to refer to a group of swatches or something.

Actually... when I saw the episode of South Park My Future Self N' Me, I think I just misheard Eric Cartman saying Swatch...

This may make since, as everytime I time I look up Splouch, I don't really get anything. And after entering 24,576 keystrokes, I guess I just didn't care... Guess I'll have to access so edit pages...

That dealie is not even close to what I did, that's like comparing the Mona Lisa with David. My thing was incremental increases of 17 to prove see if there was a way to make a 12-bit system easiely convertable with the 24-bit system. While that thing, is just suppose to be pretty with nothing to do with incremental increase in hex.

Did you by chance notice that THE SITE LINKED BY THAT AD DOES NOT USE IMAGES!?!?

And really color patterns like that are really common and often referred to for web development reasons or something or another. (The ad is probably blocked for most of you )

Completely definitely without a doubt agree 100%.

Ten, you made a square. With colors. You're not the first. Nobody stole from you. Deal with it.
