Your first time is just your first time. It's not as if there's a ceremony wtih bells and whistles and certificates and whatnot. It's awkward, it's scary, it's exciting, and really, what else is youth for if not to go through awkward, scary, and exciting things so that they can approach them with more sense and aplomb when they're older?

Actually, the first time does have some celebration with it. Sure, it's scary and unconfortable, but after, you feel more, I dunno, mature. Nobody really cares, but after me and her did what we did, we did feel a little proud that we could do that. Now, I really don't want sex because I know it's a mature thing. If I got to that point, I'd say no to sex. Trust me, once is ENOUGH for someone like me, and it should be for everyone. They need to learn to be mature.

Agreed, the day I lost it is widely considered to be the absolute worst day of my entire life. I can't think of a single day that's been worse, save possibly for the day I found out my grandmother died. And that's a contender.

Virginity kinda sucks, really. I am not looking forward to sex (as I am with love), but being a virgin makes me feel kinda sissyish for some reason. Most likely because all my friends have sex with the "hot" women. Bullshitty as it may be, I can't get over the feeling. Eh, I came close once, so screw all those who mock me for not having sex.

I was in love with the girl I lost my virginity to. Lucky enough for me, I lasted long enough and was able to get her to reach orgasm (!). It actually went really well.

I think addressing virginity is somewhat...counter-rpoductive because it is a primarility straight-derived and straight-enforced concept. It lacks many, many, many dimensions and is basically just used as a dirty word that makes it easier to demonize people.

It is out-moded. I figure that there is probably a better term that covers a lot of the bases without the straight baggage.

But your first time is a lot like being in the cold for three hours. You're shakey, confused, kind of bitchy, and really just want to eat a sandwich. Or maybe I had a really unique first time. I can't tell anymore.
