Na, the pack in ones die fast, if you use good alkaline, it should last for a little more than a week. (If you play much and many hours)

Why does Japan have different moons than the rest of the world? (Also Tokyo lacks temperature).

Hahaha...so its the batteries then.

At work I was talking to one of my new hires and he has a Wii as well. He told me that his batteries went out on him withing two to three days, just like mine.

A customer mentioned that they sell a charging station online for the controllers, but I haven't looked for it yet.

I would just go for a regular charging station, it's probably not a big deal to change batteries once a week or so manually. Also it depends on much you play as well, I think the week estimation is true if you play alot per day or something.

the wii remote uses special batteries or just normal alkaline? if alkaline, won't rechargable batteries work better?

I tried to throw in some rechargeable batteries yesterday morning, and the remote still wouldn't work....instead of messing with it further, I just took some energizer batteries from work.

Well, now I'm confused. So the Wii takes batteries like a Gameboy?

That's pain in the ass. I have to take it out from its little corner in my game shelf, unplug it, and put in Energizers, and then continue.

That's a little not right.

I don't think they have different moons, they just have a weird way of saying weather of the night is clear or not...

The Wii unit itself does not take batteries, thats just silly. We're talking about the wireless controller.

I'm not used to changing batteries so fast in a controller. I mean, my logitech controllers last forever before I have to change them out.

Yeah, most average batteries will probably only last about 30 hours (had to change mine out when I was around 30 hours in Zelda).

But, they're already making rechargable kits / batteries or whatever I'm pretty sure.

no scrolling with the d-pad.

I actually noticed this the other day, ALL of Japan's weather icons are more.... Cartoony than everyone else's. I guess because.... It's Japan.

If only the sensor bar could reach my bathroom, this thing would have a more practical use for me.... though, its kinda fun surfing away from the keyboard.
Now if Meebo would finally work on Opera, I wouldn't miss instant messages as much while doing chores....
