Here a strategy call down to to your local store and see when they'll get there next shipment of the Wii and show up to the store when it opens on the day the have the shipment.

If you see this early enough, GS/EB will have some Wii's this morning (Sunday). They wouldn't let us sell them until today (I really, really hate that). And hey, if you really want one, I can buy one for you and ship it up (ha! remember the PsX?).

I heard about the shipments yesterday and actually went but either Canada didn't get any shipments or they all sold out. :\

Whenever I've asked about the next order, the usual response I've gotten is "we don't know" which really helps.

And Nintendo actually puts out a very, VERY nice game on the VC if you haven't played it for some strange reason... here's today's lineup:

SNES: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

That's it. XD Bonanza Bros., Comix Zone and Gain Ground are supposed to come out today as well but maybe they've been delayed a week?

Just sold the last of my Wii systems today.

Yea, I am sick and tired of telling people that we don't know when they'll be in. If we tell them that they might be in on a certain day, they get all pissy when we don't them in on said day...even though we told them that we might get them in. I'm tired of people twisting our words to make it seem that we're lying to them about when they come in. Honestly, most people do not know when they'll be in, so instead of giving out false information, I just tell them that I don't know when until I open the box and I'm looking right at 'em.

Mario Kart 64 sold more copies, so nintendo thinks it will sell more.

The new Wii specific games coming out look fantastic. SSX Blur looks stupendous. Wii play. Bust a Move Bash. Most importantly are the first parties coming out. More importantly is the fact that there is going to be a Capacom game, with Inafune, for the Wii.

Heres Nintendos strategy on why they releasing Mario Kart 64 first:
It sold more copies of the game.
Also certain games a easier to release on virtual console than others.

Super Mario Kart may be more difficult because it used an expansion chip.

Mario Kart 64 and Solder Blade are released for the PAL-VC.

I downloaded Solder Blade, and as soon as I have more Points, Mario Kart 64 is mine too.

Yeah, my birthday is coming up soon , so my room mates are going to pick up another Wiimote and Nunchuk. I'm going to be buying a few thousand points for the VC and my 'rents are getting me a game. . Plus, I'm getting a job.

If Nintendo has a solid emulator, it should be able to handle SMK without any problems. :\ It just goes against the "let's release old versions of games first before the new ones" policy.

It's not an emulator issue, it's a PAL-Conversion issue.

I found a wii and bought it. It only cost me $130 because i traded in my 2 GBC, my SNES, My N64, and my xbox with all the games for them.
