Here's the deal: We have an HP Officejet 6200 Series (Printer Scanner Fax Copier all in one), connected to my mother's computer. My computer is connected to hers via Wireless connection. I can print off that pronter from my computer, provided her computer is on. What I wanna know is how the hell I can scan something, because whenever I go into the HP toolbar on my comp, and click scan, I get an error message, saying it's not connected.
What am I to do?

You have to be at your mother's computer. I share an HP3100 at home and I do not get any of the scanning/faxing features unless I am at the computer which has the scanning software installed. The scanning software by HP does not allow network connection of my HP3100. My guess is the HP software does not allow network connection of your printer.
