Hells yeah, this is definitely the one game I'll be getting with the Wii whenever I end up getting it. The gale boomerange pwns so hard. It's good to see that the developers are still coming up with new creative weapons (I thought the hookshot was the coolest until now).

Oh dear god, yes.

The game is very good, I got it this morning thanks to my "camping out" idea

Well I already finished the Forest Temple wich I wont spoil... The boss on the temple took me alot of time to figure how to beat.

Really good game. 10/10

I just got to the Temple myself.

At first I couldn't figure out what to do with that damn cat, I figured I'd need to catch a fish ... but it took me awhile to figure out how with the rod. Once I got passed that though, I couldn't stop playing. The controls are great too, and I think I'd rather play this with the Wii remote than the GC controller.

My only 'slight' disappointment so far is that the music doesn't seem mind blowing like I was hoping. Its not bad or anything, but just decent.

I just started playing it a few hours ago. I played Wii Sports with the guys all last night and this afternoon. Wii Sports Bowling = Awesome.

This game is gorgeous and cool so far...

Does it remind anyone else very much of Ico and Shadow of the Collossus?

I thought SotC while watching my roommate play, too. Before this I'd only played very limited parts, unfortunately (though not really since before this most people haven't played it at all). And sadly *I* don't get the game until I get it in the mail this week. Bah.

I dunno, maybe its because I've grown up playing Zelda games and usually love them to death, but it seemed pretty obvious for what to do against that boss. For me at least.

And yeah, I can see the Ico / SoTC art connection. Then again you could say Ico / SoTC was kind of Zelda-ish at first, since I'd still say this game reminds me a lot of OoT and MM also. I can see how people are saying the graphics aren't totally up to par with games thesedays and it probably didn't push the Wii's limits at all, but if only people remembered that this game was basically 90% developed for the GC in the first place ...

But yeah, again I'm loving this game so far. The boomerang is fun. Plot seems a bit odd though, almost like a remixed Link to the Past ...

My only complaint is that you don't have an option to switch handedness.

I'm a lefty. Link's always been a lefty.

And he was a lefty when they developed it for the GC, so don't give me any "they'd have to render all of his animations again."

But hey, I can get used to it. After all, it's not like his sword actually does what your arm is doing. And I thumbstick a lot better with my left hand anyway.

I... um...

...never got to play the n64 Zelda games...

To be fair, he was right-handed in the show.

I know offhand because I've been watching my DVDs to get my zelda fix until it I can actually get TP.

Oh the show ... the terror! Well, its great to watch with a big group of friends.

Kasdarack: Well, if you ever can I'd highly recommend you try looking around for the Zelda Collectors Edition disc for the GC. It has Zelda, Zelda II, OoT, and Majora's Mask. An amazing buy. Plus, you could play it on your Wii!

The show is actually not that bad. Everyone is out of character, but the way they present things is oft-amusing, and it's decent fluff when you're bored. I could name like 15 anime offhand in this style that are worse (and way more if you gave me time to write a list).

Yeah, someone told me that they have the collector's disc for $45 at the GameStop they work in. I'll ask for it for Christmas.

Dude, the collector's disk originally retailed for free.

$45 is way too much.

I'd agree... but I've not seen it cheaper anywhere else.

Though, I could probably just go to a pawn shop and pick up the carts for the 64 cheaper than that. I need to flesh out my n64 collection again anyway. *mourns the loss of his stolen games*

Can't you people use spoiler tags? D:
