Anyway what made me happy today was I brought my DS's AC adapter to work, so I could slack off on IRC pretty much the entire 8 hour shift. Since the IRC app has no way to turn off the backlight, and uses wifi, it kills the battery in like 3 hours. (I suspect it may be unnecessarily turning on the 3D processor too. ) That was good because I hate those damn morning shifts. Getting up at 7AM is not compatible with my system. |

| Playing with webfonts made me happy today. This font is "Georgia" and works on Windows and on Mac OS X. The font size is 1.2em.
I would like to use American Typewriter as a font, but this is only a default on Macintosh, and the closest default on Windows appears to be Courier New (eww. oh, and that's what you'll see in Windows... ha). I really like American Typewriter. Getting started on database stuff for my site made me happy too. |
