| yeah. the title says almsot all of it. whenever I log in, C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM opens up. I've run Msconfig, nothing that opens that program there. Nothing in the start menu under startup, and I haven't hd time to check the registry. Any ideas why that window opens all the time when I log in? | |||

| I recall hearing of a bug that can make this happen. IIRC, it's caused by corrupted registry entries in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run (or the same in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) and the other Run keys nearby. | |||

Really? Huh. I'll have to look at that, although I don't relish the thought of corrupted registry entries...
EDIT: Found one. 'bittorrent / " "" --force_Sart_minimized "', which may have been what was causing the error. (edited by Sukasa on 11-18-06 01:42 PM) |
