Yikes.

Then again, who still shops at Toys R' Us these days? That sucks though, hopefully nobody here pre-ordered from there.

The Canada one isn't SO bad because you're still getting the system - just nothing else with it. Makes me wonder if TRU forgot that there was a pack-in with the system already.

The Australia one, however... BOY is that a ripoff. Even if the Wii version of Open Season was fun to play, it's still a GAME FOR KIDS. I could probably beat it in an afternoon.

Yeah it sucks, but really... TRU is a store for kids, so Open Season isn't completely unreasonable.

Grey: I think that your "kids" on the weekend might be just a tad older than usual.

Yeah, sorry.

I do have a friend that works there too, that I know in person. Still, they have a good Lego's section.

Toys R' Us is one of those toy shops I can't stand... even if they have a good stock of Nintendo games for some reason here. If I'm looking for a oddball accessory, they tend to have it.

Huh, I wasn't saying anything about your statement, it's just... Well, it kind of dismays me to hear that TRUs around the world are messing up and giving my little store a bad name.

On the other hand, I'm totally quitting soon, so I can say fuck all if I want.

They changed the deal somewhat after what I would only assume to be general disgust.

Now you can get Open Season OR... Need for Speed Carbon. It's no Zelda but it's probably something you can have fun with if the controls aren't bad.
