I definitely get the whole pet thing. My cousin gave me this siamese cat last year for christmas and his name was and is Yoshi.
Yoshi, c'mon, after the dinosaur?
She told me it was because when he was a kitten his fur was scrunched up looking like yoshi or somethin.
Anywho, I've been thinking about this all, but I can't make a final decision until the time comes.

My sisters did that with pets too, like Yasha for a hamster and Neko for a cat ... I don't mind for pets either since they don't really care, although some names can still be silly

Sides, I've got a hundred different names I could choose from that are better than the names most animes give out.

Sure there are some good names out there however for a human it doesn't work. The only way you oculd justify it if it was a common name.

Personally of the members of R vs. B, I would name my kid Church...

For the most part, I would never name my kid after an anime character, unless this would somehow upset the tides of humanity and piss alot of people off

I've already decided, I'm going to name them after Sonic characters(close enough to anime). Of course, I would give them blatantly obvious names... One would be Nack, one would be Ivo, one would be Amy...I'm still thinking about Crabmeat...I would kill for that name XD
