Hi all,
My name is kenghot my site is www.kenghot.com, I come from small country "Thailand". I just completed 100% for ff3 nds translation to my own language (Thai) and released it to Thai's gamer on 11/1/2006 .
It quite successful for this project. So I need to do next project and I've plan to translate FF5 or FF6 on GBA . After I start hacking gba rom , i've found that it's more difficult than NDS . So, Anybody would tell me , where should i start or what exactly i need to know for hacking GBA rom?

Good job on the translation, though this isn't really a place to ask questions about hacking. To do that, you'll want to go to the Rom Hacking Approval forum and make a thread stating why you should be approved to post in the Rom Hacking forum

Are there Thai-language commercial games? Did you have to make that Thai font yourself? Forgive me for not knowing; I've never seen a game in Thai before.

Welcome to the group! There are some good GBA hackers around here, but GBA hacking is a lot harder than NES or SNES hacking, I think.

In Thailand, we don't have much commercail game. Coz moslty we consume prirate copies. So nobody want to invest in Thai
For Thai font, I did all myself . I've to create about 1,000 fonts to cover all dialogs.

the emulator you use and the rom you translated it from all files we need to get the translation program to work and everyting!
