I've been in my new school for a few months now and I'm starting to get used to the whole crowd. I've made a few awesome friends, but EVERY fricking year I meet someone who I really don't want to have anything to do with. One kid this year, in particular, is driving me crazy.

Why?

He drinks, and probably does some sort of drug.
He's probably the most disgustingly perverted person I've ever met in my life.
He follows me around wherever I sit in class and distracts me as much as he can.

The problem is, I have no idea of how to tell him to fuck off. Has anyone else here had an experience like this?

Actually, yes. And I told him to fuck off. In front of a group of people, actually. He threatened to kick my ass in response, and after stating that was exactly the reason why he had to "fuck off", he just left the group. Little emo's been downstairs in the dorm crying ever since.

Makes me feel bad a bit. But just a bit. Definently outweighed by the positives.

Hm. I'd say do what you're afraid to do. Good people can still be good, even if they have to tell off a few jerks. Myself, people don't seem to hang around me unless they actually have something interesting to say.

There was a situation like that between one of my friends. The one I liked, would tell the guy we all hated "You're fucking stupid", basically. Yet he never got the point we were trying to make (still bothered us, followed our group, etc).

What I always do, is just completely ignore them as best as you can. Its mean, but it gets the job done. If you see them in the halls or something, just be like "Hey" if they say something and just continue walking or whatever. I dunno, but this always worked for me.

Normally, I agree, that would work.... if I only saw him in the halls or at lunch. But he's in a few of my classes so I can't really "escape" him. Also he's my assigned lab partner. You can take a guess how much of a pain in the ass lab is for me.

My hope is that I end up switching classes or something so I won't have to deal with him anymore. I mean, he's not some kind of HORRIBLE person, but he's really not someone I wanna be around for the rest of the year.

Hint from me: Pretend you're his some sort of (backup) friend. Then, next year, just completely ignore him... Done that a few times and it usually works, worst thing is that they say hey or something.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll just get through this year, and if I ever happen to see him again next year I'll just ignore him. I guess that's the only thing left to do...

Either that, or plant drugs in his backpack and tell a teacher... Or by your description, he would have them already.

Huh. Sounds like me back in high school. Except I only hung around people of my own ilk, and not around straight-edgers
My advice, just turn around tell him, looking at him straight in the eye, "Back the fuck off."
If he keeps doing it, be more forceful, just not physical.

Yeah, I never meant to get involved with him, it's not like I chose to. If I had a choice, I'd be hanging with the geekiest of all geeks. We just happened to get assigned as lab partners one day and he wouldn't leave me alone from there. I mean, he's not near anything I would call a bully, he's not any bigger than I am... he's just a PAIN IN THE ASS. So maybe I should just assert myself to him. Either that or deal with him for another, what, 7 months?

Anyway, thanks guys.
