| This has been bothering me since forever: what the hell is an opponent from Mendel Palace (NES) doing in Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire?
He's been recolored, badly scaled and no standard palettes fit! |

| Both games were made by Game Freak. Obviously, someone was feeling a little nostalgic.
The character was probably used as a filler graphic during development or something. |

Eh, Gamefreak left over a lot of things in their games, I won't even get in to all of it here. There's not a whole lot of explanation other than the fact that they were too lazy to take out a LOT of things. Since the question's been answered, I think I can close this, re-open it if you have something more to do with it I guess  |
