Hi, I'm fabio and I'm mainly requesting approval for the ROM hacking forum because I'm hacking Sonic 3D Blast. I just got back into hacking that game this weekend. I also hack SMW but I haven't been working on it much as of now. Last time I touched it was on my birthday. 
I've only contributed two hacks so far but both of them aren't that big. The first was an April Fool's hack called Super Fabio World which shares the same name as the hack I'm currently working on. It doesn't have glitches or horrible palettes like some of the other hacks made on that day. It was mainly intended to look like a real hack but the secret was that there was only one level and it is only 2 screens long. You can find it here if you really have nothing better to do. 
The other one was a Sonic 3D Blast hack that was quickly made after data of that game was released. If you've played any games that have a boss rush mode where you fight all the bosses in a row, then this will be very familiar to you. There's a total of 8 levels in it, 7 of them are the Act 3 levels which are the boss fights and the last level which is the fight against Death Egg. After you beat the last boss, the game will crash signifying that the game is over. The challenge to it is there are no continues and not enough rings to give you extra lives. You have 4 lives total to beat all 8 bosses. You can find it here at Romhacking.net. Funny thing is I didn't upload it there and didn't even know it was uploaded until I stumbled upon that page in a Google search today.
I plan on aiming to make a much bigger hack than those 2 mentioned earlier. I've been here for about a year and a half and I know just about all the rules here. I guess that is it. I should stop rambling.  |
