It's crazy how much stuff has come out of the Zelda 64 scene in all these years. I'm definately going to have to check this out.

Very nice!

Looks like the test maps weren't included in the retail z64 build. Are there any in Majora?

Personally I'm more interested in these 64DD tests.

And did anyone else notice that SPOT00 with default settings is exactly how the so-called beta quest starts? Nearly pitch-black Hyrule Field, no status bars or music, major echo, time frozen, sound of a horse in the background, and starting in the middle of nowhere.

Interesting! Anyone tried wandering around to other places in it?

That just takes you back to the menu or freezes.

The "secret area" in Kokiri Forest is interesting. Notice the night music during the day. The place you respawn if you fall out of bounds is also pretty interesting, and I don't recall seeing that "Forest Training Area" sign at all. If you head to the Deku Tree, after a heart piece appears above your head (which seems to indicate an area has loaded), you can turn back to see the rest of the forest, completely empty. Oddly there isn't a sign to be found.

[edit] Got bored, poked around in RAM, found the level list. The actual 64DD tests are "n64dd_SetDiskVersion(1)" and "n64dd_SetDiskVersion(0)". So these might not be levels at all, but rather options that would change something 64DD-related.

I wonder if it's even possible to do this in V1.2? I noticed it forces the "Disk Icon Flag" (the byte that makes a "Disk" icon appear next to a save file) to zero.
