This is pretty cool, I still own the original cart and play it every now & then. I also remember a Half - Life mod where you can play Goldeneye levels. I'll have to mess with this editor when I have the time.

I'm extremely impressed with this. The editor even makes portable level files that you can upload onto the internet for others to use. It is amazing what can be done to make our old favorite games fresh again.

I love the internet.

Finally i can make the game more challenging. First thing im doing getting paid is buying a USB N64 controller adaptor.

I liove the idea of new missions, enemy and weapon placement.

Get the Gamecube/xbox/ps1-2 adaptor, 3 in one magic joy box. the adaptoid converter for the n64 doesn't work that great...

So is it possible to "open" an existing Goldeneye level and edit it? Lets say i want to change the type of enemies that appear in the first level from green soldier guys to brown soldier guys. How would I go about that? I cant seem to be able to open up any files from within the program. They all give me "Invalid File" I've tried opening both compressed and uncompressed files.

Well, the creators of this program should at least make a little guide to get started. Took me a little playing around to understand how this program worked, can be said that it works diffrently from other hacking programs.

Uhm, we did.
http://www.rarewitchproject.com/downloads.php?id=314

Granted the help isn't entirely complete yet, but the basic operation of the editor is covered as well as the usage for the different intro types, most objects, and the most important actions.

Further updates to the help file and editor will be made sporadically.
