Old, but still somewhat funny to read.

Especially seeing as how similar those arguments are to those brought up in campaigns against other things.

It's true, I've heard of people who have drowned in DHMO. And the scary thing is, 70% of our bodies is made up of it. We're surely doomed unless we purge ourselves

Fucking Dihydrogen Monoxide. I've heard of cases where people are allergic to it! They get hives and shit! We must be willing to sacrifice some of our stuff in order to make the world better for those with allergies! WE DID IT WITH PEANUTS AND WE WILL DO IT AGAIN.

Yet, I've read health magazines that recommend drinking 8 glasses of dihydrogen monoxide per day...

It's madness!!

I also hear DHMO has caused an alarming decrease in the world's supply of combustion, a natural process which releases carbon in to the atmosphere. Can we honestly stand around and let this happen?

This stuff is ancient, man. I remember getting this back at VGF how many years ago? Still, there's some pretty funny stuff like "major component of acid rain" further down the list, I guess.

Also, I'm thoroughly disappointed in myself for seeing a Lyle in Cube Sector reference but not getting why it's funny.

Ban it? Neverrr!!! Humans are a plague on this Earth; we must make more room for the Dihydrogen Monoxide, or else it may become extinct. We must start by banning banning Dihydrogen Monoxide!

While we're at it, we should ban sodium chloride too. That's some nasty stuff.

Yeah. Fuck sodium chloride. It causes dehydration and can even be lethal to humans.

By the way, I've heard some bad things about titanium dioxide. Are these allegations true?
