The dracula design is somewhat influenced by his CastleVania 64 apperance. It was alot of fun to make

As for the castle, It's known throughout the castlevania series to appear out of mist, which should explain the lack of colors, and somewhat lack of details.

I think I may have over-dithered this, but I still like it ;p

I think the castle/hill in the background look too "flat", as if they're just a wall. There's no sort of shading at all around it.

And yeah, you dithered a little too much. =P

Do you mean like, a sheet with 50+ sprites on it? or a sheet with animations of a single sprite on it?

My biggest problem, believe it or not, is motivation. I get a good bit done anyways, but I don't have much motivation to stick to one project and see it through. althought that may change if I nail a job in new york.

there's slight shading on the castle. I didn't want anything major, mostly just the idea of his castle being present, and freddy having a town behind him. street light, lots of bats.
the over-dithering doesn't show *too* much in 1280x1024, but viewing it in lower resolutions (or just zooming in

) makes it hell

my main gripe is just how the hill behind him has no shading whatsoever other than the odd pixel here and there.
