I have a drive called Stuff. All important things such as documents, music, games, programs etc are in there.

I mostly use my desktop for stuff. Whenever I download something i put it on the desktop (Exceptions are big files and anime), so that when the desktop becomes to cluttered I remove things I don't need and sort the other things somewhere into my drive.
Works perfect for me.

Nope. I have each drive labeled for it's purposes (F: for windows (assigned when installed), G: for games, M: for music, P: for pictures, S: for storage (empty, I consolidated all my folders onto one HD and just formated the other one to S: but it's empty right now, waiting for a purpose in life) T: for temp, W: for work/websites) and not a single one of those has a folder (or even a file) named stuff (my downloads and attachments go into F:\attachments and F:\downloads). I do have temp folders in just about every drive for things I'm not quite ready to sort into folders. As for my desktop, pristine would be the best word to describe it until the end of summer. I used to keep it without anything on it. There was not a single icon on my desktop and that's the way I like it. I had every application that I couldn't get to through the run prompt in a quick launch (about 9) and when I wanted to go to a folder I just typed it into run (or just keyboard windows button, 'M' for my computer and then start looking). But at the end of summer I changed it up and now it looks like this here. [1080x1024 jpg, kinda large]

My Mac doesn't really have much of a self made folder system, I just let the system put things where it wants because I don't use it for too much other than photos and school work. That might have a stuff folder, not sure.

I do. It began as basically my desktop cleanup folder (whenever I felt it was getting messy), and then it turned into a holder for everything else.
It holds the later "Crap" folder, the "Desktop Cleanup Folder", some of my hacking stuff and other junk. Just some "stuff" you know? I'm a packrat, even on my PC...

I have some very peculiar folder names. "4" contains my NES emulation files, "New Folder (3)" contains my SMW hacking folders (1271 files to be exact), "m" is for the HDMA I never used. I'm sure I have a stuff folder somewhere, but I can't find it.

Nope, no movies for me. And a very small mp3 collection. I have about 6 terabytes of data, almost all of which was made by me. Probably 1 terabyte of which is my universe simulator which has to deal with about 10^9 particles.

Essentially I just use my D: drive for storage. My personal shit goes in My Documents. However, I do have a temp folder in C:/temp for any files that come out of an archive file.

I do have a folder called "Old Stuff" but there is not much in it because I never get around to putting things there. I generally download things to my desktop so I can find them easily, and when my desktop gets too full, shove it all into My Documents. I organize some stuff into folders every once in a while, but generally My Documents is pretty messy. I also have quite a few folders named New Folder, New Folder (2), New Folder (3), etc. laying around my computer.

My Vista partition is still pretty clean, but we'll see how long that lasts.

Nah. Closest to it would be D:\Download and even then 95% of the stuff gets re-ordered sooner or later.

C:\Program Files\Audacity\Languages\lt MIGHT be my porn folder
But otherwise, I have C:\a for rom hacking tools and copies of roms to screw around with. Everything else just goes in My Documents somewhere.

I have my stuff sorted into proper folders as well, you could say C:/stuff is the "root" of my, well, stuff It's currently only 1.8GB, with ~8k files. Before I reformated I couldn't tell possibly tell you how large it was (at least 30~40GB, still all organized) I have a C:/stuff/temp for incoming files, and anything I save is located in a directory under C:/stuff.

C:/windows/blahblah was just too long for me to type, I used to keep a folder on my desktop, also used to try keeping stuff in my documents, C:/stuff is much more efficient for me
