I swear, practically everyone has a "stuff" folder, named just that, or something similar. *setz has C:/stuff that branches on and on and on.

but seriously, do you?

I er... uh, have "My Documents" with horribly unsorted and messy subfolders. Also, my website has a /stuff/ with random uploads.

I also have a hidden folder called /bzort/ in a random location on my hard drive for... hidden things.

hah, I have something similar, not because I'm trying to be stealthy, but because that was just the last folder open the first time I went to save something, and it ended up sticking [

For my laptop I have just two things on my desktop; a folder for holding temporary installer packages and My Documents renamed "Files" because "Stuff" just sounded too... silly.

I have a "The Desktop" folder on my desktop. It contains all the shit I ever wanted not to be on my desktop. I was to lazy to clean it up so I shoved it all in that folder.

I voted no, I have all my stuff sorted into individual folders, although being too organized may become worse than having all in just one folder, if you happen to forget where the h4x you saved some things...

But I do have a folder named "Stuff007", I have there the files that I know I will never use/need again, but I'd feel bad deleting them =(, eventually I go there to visit "my past"...

So people actually download stuff to their desktop?

Well then, I have my E:\Downloads folder, and everything goes there, then it goes sorted out, but I don't need to sort SETUP.EXEs or other installation programs, so they're still there, and it's just 391MB on a messy folder. If that's my stuff folder, maybe I had to vote yes to the poll (or "I don't know what you're talking about", because I didn't know, but I thought I knew [I didn't know that I didn't know])...

I have folders called Stuff, Junk, General, Misc, Crap, New Folder, and New Folder (2). All for different purposes. So I guess that's a yes.

EDIT: Size larger than 147MB? Here's the size of just the folder Stuff on my desktop: 97.23GB. Yes, GB.

Thatīs quite the same as me. It can be somewhat hard to find certain files sometimes but I generally know where I keep them. Else itīs just to search for them.

My "Files" folder title may indicate assorted junk, but in actuality, it is properly sorted and only exists on my desktop for one-click access to everything I would normally use but don't keep a shortcut to in my QL bar. So it is not really the same as what everyone else seems to do with their "Stuff" directories.

I have the random junk stored on the second hard drive. The root (D:\) contains random images and such, D:\VPC95 contains stuff intended for my virtual computers, D:\imported\eFinish and D:\imported\opera\ contain random junk (together 25 GB). Finally, D:\generale\ contains anything modding related (5 GB)

It's a big mess really.

Well, no, I don't have a "stuff" folder. It's kind of organized. The closest thing to a "stuff" folder would be that I have one in "Mine Dokumenter" (My Documents) called "Annet" (Other). It only contains three Word documents, though.
