I should just make one thread for all of my questions...

How do I use the program in the console? I open Command Prompt and don't know where to go from there. And the readme didn't say how to do it other than assuming that you know how to use Command Prompt and if not, to Google it.

I'm not trying to open up other people's hacks with this, I just want to unlock a version of my own hack that I locked because I thought I was done with that version. It turns out i need something from there and unless I want to spend lots of time re-doing it in my unlocked version, I'd really like to just use RLM and unlock it.

[Path to rlm.exe] [path to locked rom] [place to write unlocked rom]

Remove the brackets.

Wooh, that's going to be a lot to type. I'll just move the files to a not so deep location and then do it. Do I need <>'s around the paths?

I don't think so, no. I haven't used RLM in a few months. You could always try it both ways.

I just tried now and it recognizes the rlm.exe command but when I type the infile path, it says it cannot find/recognize it.

Here's exactly what I'm typing in. C:\rlm.exe C:\Super.smc C:\Super(U).smc

That's what I'm doing, yet no result. I also tried with <> and it said that "< was unexpected at this time."

That should be right O_o

Try using / instead of \.

I'll try again but if nothing works, I dunno. I guess I'll just have to redo the part in my hack.

EDIT: Never mind, I got it to work. I didn't have the infile/outfile matching exactly. Thanks for your help.
