| OK, so halloween is coming up. For little kids this is a big day. For teenagers, it's OK, but not great. But for those lucky 20-30 year olds, this is a great night of retarded/funny costumes and drunken idiotcy.
One of those two things I am already great at, but I could use some help with the funny costume part. Good thing is I still have a whole 2 and 1/2 weeks to figure it all out. This thread will have two topics going: 1 - Post what you are wearing for yourself. Pictures are encouraged. If you don't have your costume together yet, tell us what you're thinking of, and then write/image us the final result 2 - HELP ME FIND OUT WHAT I WANT TO BE! It has to be funny. Semi-offensive costumes are OK, but it can't be totally wrong and a-moral. Here's a list of ideas I have so far: -Maurice Clarett, complete with AK's and Grey Goose vodka bottle, possibly bruise/blood makeup to recreate his famous mugshot. The big problem here is that I am white and will either look like a pale sad-ass Clarett or will have to paint myself black. -Ricky Williams, with (fake) blunts and black 'fro, and possibly arm cast. Again, the problem is that he is black and I am not. -Ron Artest. I can borrow some boxing gloves. Again, I am not black and so I might end up just looking stupid. -I don't know if it's too soon for this... How offensive would it be to get some aviatior goggles / gloves / hat and dress us as Cory Lidle? -My only non-sports-related idea is to go as Slash from Guns and Roses. Potentially I would like to get a batter-powered amp and walk around with my guitar playing Welcome to the Jungle all day, but I don't have the amp, so I'd sorta like to save this for another year. One plus is that it gives me a great reason to tote around some Jack Daniel's all day. One minus is that I would look totally stupid with my bare chest sticking out of a leather jacket. EDIT: More ideas! -I could do Towlie OK, but I'm not a druggie and that'd sort of ruin the costume. Plus I think that'll be a fairly common costume, I'm sure you could find it in stores somewhere. -Anything Super Troopers or Office Space is nice, but those are better group costumes and I don't think I could get enough people to cooperate...  I won't be going out this year since I don't have enough time to get my #2 haircut grown long enough by Halloween, but I'm pretty sure I can do the unshaven bit. I'd totally go around the neighborhood dressed up like Dr. Gregory House.
Let's see... I already have the cane, the sneakers, the shirts, the unkempt beard, the belt, the blue jeans... All I need now is the black socks and suit jacket. Wait, suit jacket? We don't have any customes done yet, but the plan is for me, and a some friends of mine dress up as Teletubbies for a Halloween party at the bar where I work. I'm looking forward to it. If they can get the customes done. I have offered to help them with what I can, but..
