lineart:
first revision finished product: 15 colors. I probably could've just done vector (and used 16 million) but I have no intrest in that. it's based somewhat on a sketch I made in class, although that was much more detailed, and smaller, and didn't have a weird background. so what do you think? I know I still have some areas where I need to clean up the AA, but for the most part you won't see a difference. (edited by setz on 10-12-06 09:44 PM) |

Well, I prefer the lineart, since it looks a lot more detailed and realistic, but I bet that's just me

Nice work, but I kind of agree with liking the first one. Sketches have a certain appeal to me. I think the highlighting is a little extreme, but I guess you were going for kind of a stylized effect.

Originally posted by Uly Originally posted by rubixcuber the sketch was aimed abit more towards the realistic spectrum of things, but for whatever reason, I decided to go with a much simpler, more stylized approach. (probably for time reasons, the same thing but more detailed would've taken me much longer.) Originally posted by sonicandFAILS What good are rules if you don't break them? |
