15 colors. I probably could've just done vector (and used 16 million) but I have no intrest in that.

it's based somewhat on a sketch I made in class, although that was much more detailed, and smaller, and didn't have a weird background.

so what do you think? I know I still have some areas where I need to clean up the AA, but for the most part you won't see a difference.

Well, I prefer the lineart, since it looks a lot more detailed and realistic, but I bet that's just me

Nice work, but I kind of agree with liking the first one. Sketches have a certain appeal to me. I think the highlighting is a little extreme, but I guess you were going for kind of a stylized effect.

the sketch was aimed abit more towards the realistic spectrum of things, but for whatever reason, I decided to go with a much simpler, more stylized approach. (probably for time reasons, the same thing but more detailed would've taken me much longer.)
