I'm working on an editor for the game Shining Force for Genesis. This will probably be where I post any (rare) updates to my progress. I have a couple questions though. How many people would actually be interested in an editor for this game? Does anyone have any data offsets for this game? Any help would be appreciated. It's moving fairly slowly with all of my other projects.

Making my own Shining Force-style game has long been a dream of mine, so I'd be interested in seeing this editor. I don't have any data offsets to contribute, though.

Glad to hear someone's interested. I've traced most of the compression routines and have a pretty good idea of how to decompress the data. I just need to get around to actually trying to write a compressor/decompressor.

The game is fun, so it would be a good addition to the edtiors. =p

Sounds good, although I doubt I'd use it... Still, the more editors the merrier.
Still waiting for someone to come up with a SoR 2/3 editor.

I made a fair bit of progress last night. I'd promise a tool capable of editing the text by Monday, but I'm going to be out of town all weekend. So you'll just have to wait!

Well, being out of town I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but here's a font editor!

I've included a font I made and an export of the original font. Use File->Import to view those. Otherwise just open a Shining Force ROM. Please post any comments, bug reports, requests, etc. here.

(I hope double posting like this is ok. I didn't want to make a new thread, but I wanted people to see that something had changed. If it's a problem tell me because unless people comment I'll be making posts each time I finish a new part of the editor and they'll all be consecutive.)
