Why? All it takes is a little self-restraint to not spam for the ACS. And if you don't care for the ACS and post enough to make it there anyway, you shouldn't be worrying about losing your spot in the first place.

I'm mainly joking around, I think I'd want to finish on 6th on the end so I can say "Told you I was going to be 6th!". But it is sort of exciting not knowing what's going to happen or who's going to beat you next (As in any competition).

It still bothers me when other people say: "You're just posting for the ACS!", and that's a big con.

(I had to post what I posted two posts ago because at the other thread Xkeeper said that if he could kill anybody without punishment, he'd kill me, so it's fun to have him catching me up at the ACS).

On another note: I think Colin will be quite pleased at the number of posts today. Although personally, I think the bill has been pushed too far with that "Big Topics" business. It's a breeding ground for "ping-pong posting" (two users posting back and forth for a while, or one user posting after others whenever they post).

Yeah, I'm pretty iritated with a handful of users that are seriously abusing the return of Big Topics. I love activity, but not when it's all freaking spam.

I think the posts at some threads *points* shouldn't be counted towards the ACS, for obvious reasons (It's broken).

I agree with that. In fact, make them not count toward postcount either. If activity there dies off, we know for sure the real reason why those threads are so popular.

But yeah, that's pretty much the situation right now. Pasgeti_; in particular has almost all posts made in Big Topics, and ones like HyperHacker have those topics in extreme in addition to their regular active number of posts. Like I said, it was probably a bad idea to bring it back.
