Has anyone seen the first episode yet?
The first episode was a very boring, except for some parts.
You can catch it online if you didn't miss the two showings.
NBC seems to really be pushing this show, limited commercial interruptions and all that.

For those who don't know what it is, it's a modern take on people developing superpowers, and the next level in human evolution. Every main character in the show is connected in some way. Woman does porno film, Japanese guy is downloading it. Lots of Star Trek reference as well, from the geek Japanese.

I saw the first two episodes and I liked them a lot. Except for the flying scene at the end of the first episode. That wasn't very good.

I think I'm the only one that can say I just think its 'decent'. Not horrible, but not incredible.

So far Hiro and the cop guy who can hear peoples thoughts are my favorite characters.

Oh I'm so following this and hoping it doesn't get cancelled. It adds a bit of an extra dimension understanding the Japanese people (other than the subs), their politeness level etc. I kinda like little ms. Wolverine.. although I doubt she'll get an adamantium skeleton.

Yep. But just one thing that I'm finding to be a bit corny...."save the cheerleader..save the world...." makes me want to whisper "gamecube" after that line.

I suppose that's because only the cheerleader has the powers needed to prevent the nuke.. .

Hiro is definately my favorite character. "Can you give me ride-o? Boo-boo." Has to be my favorite thing said in that show. However the guy who can paint the fiture when he is high . . . he is kinda lame . . . because to use his power he needs to be high . . . way to go . . .
