See, the no internet I had still had a carrot -- the fact that everybody told me it should work.

The telephone lines must have been fucked.

That sounds about as annoying as my internet. I have wireless and it likes to cut out at 99% of a download or right when I'm doing something important. Or it will be on and fine all day when I'm gone and die as soon as I try to do something.
