| This is probably a noob question since I just got this but do any of you know about the program "Poke Text" which edits the text in Pokemon Silver and Gold? It works with Gold Map and stuff like that but I'm having a problem with it.
When I edit the text and click "save" or change to another text block it usually adds some weird thing at the top or bottom of the block like Txd or ? or something like that. So, I go and test it in the emulator and the text block is screwed up and it replaces words like "it" and "like" with "tx" and "txde" and sometimes adds a ? in the block at the bottom or top. What's wrong with that? |

| Yea...its generaly not a good idea to use programs like Poketext, and theres a simple way of editing it too. Just use a hex editor with a table file for silver. If you have hex workshop, I can even provide you with one that will work with it. In doing this you can see all the text ion the game and edit it at your will. | |||

How about we don't SPAM my forum instead, insectduel? Using a hex editor was suggested in the post right above yours. From now on, please, please read the posts in the thread before you make a reply. It would really be alot easier on me and the other moderator here than having to say this everytime you post off topic  |
