As you can see its in the state of "NOT READY". I am not a HTML or CSS wizard, so Im asking for help...
How can I turn this blue ( soon to be turned into lighter one) a little transparent?
Put a picture on the right side of this layout?
Loop the bg?

After discussion in one of those important sticky type things up top there, it was decided that post layout threads would be merged into that sticky unless it was a particularly great piece of art..

Anyhow, pink and blue don't look so great together, and transparency is achievable only through custom-made .gifs created in photoshop or [insert image edit software here] or in lololol [not IE as I know personally from experience] using the CSS property 'opacity.'

It really depends on what your layout code is as to how to do certain things. I suggest an external CSS, but that's just me. I also suggest checking out other people's layout codes (acheivable via the "View Source" option in IE and lololol) and toying with layout codes on a personal website, such as Freewebs.

By the way, look for this: <td class='tbl font tdbg1' valign=top height=220> as a signal to the start of layout code and a </table> tag usually ends the code with a <br>. Practice is the best thing to help you get exactly what you want, trial and error is fine. Only thing is, don't test layouts in the profile edit unless you are sure they work... otherwise it gets ugly.
