Well the only problem I have with that is I don't know if downloading a game I own is really Legal or not. Lots of peolpe say it is then others say its not.

There is a lot of lies on the internet. Also cooliscool is right it's only legal if you dumped it yourself. Like how you can't download a dvd you own, however you can rip it yourself.

First I would like to say I love your program. I've never used it because I've never successfully found the debug rom but it definitely has potential. If I ever get my hands on the rom I'll tinker with you program sometime.


Regarding the quoted though...you don't make much sense. How do you not condone piracy, make a editing program for an illegally obtained game, and then on top of that, make it an open source?

From the point I'm getting you're not condoning something you yourself are clearly doing because let's be honest, NOBODY here physically owns the debug version of the game.

Why does anyone make editors? Because I do it doesn't mean I condone doing it, as in, will supply the means to do so.

My main reason for not condoning it in the first place is usually the rules of a said forum, attempting to avoid legal trouble. Take that as you will, heh.
