I'd like to see the calendar become more useful.

I'd like to see it used for Anniversaries a bit, as well as events such as when competitions end, etc.

Calendar events sound nice. That way, I won't miss a Happy Hour or some other important event here.

Happy Hours aren't usually planned, are they?

Would it be possible to make the birthdays of inactive users drop off? ie, if a user has not used their account for x days it disappears off the calendar (and off the front page of the board) ??

Speaking of ranks, you should have it filter out banned members so they dont show up.
