| It's paranoia, Xkeeper. People do weird things and act very strangely when they are paranoid. Any timer on the boards is assumed to be one that will destroy the boards when it hits zero. This is also known as Rule 59b.
It'd be funny to fake them out though - destroy the boards, start it up again, then shut down the new one only to bring back the old one with improvements made to it - or nothing at all. |

| Sonicandtails also added a noise. And last I checked, screwing with pages by embedding music into them is FORBIDDEN.
And yes, there have been doom timers that made the board go crazy, but there has only been one real doom timer. The rest were all a countdown to something else, but people went crazy anyhow. |
