| Okay, I'll try to list the issues I've been having. I'm sure everyone else has it too but here goes...
1.) Traffic -'Tis the season to be a jolly moron and disregard a person's right-of-way. Women around here don't know how to f*cking drive. Hell, I bet you they need a ladder to get into their Hippocraft 50000X.S-IV. Countless times I almost got crushed by these acinine pieces of crap. 2.) Personal Space -I look down an aisle for some simple groceries with plenty (over 20 ft) of space behind me and as if everybody just loves to get warm and cozy with my ass, they annoyingly brush up against me time and time again. I try to walk around and kids are playing hide-and-seek around my legs. I have to stop and wait for them to get far enough so as to not accidently pulverize the little buggers. 3.) Bullshitters -I had only minutes to get my English project in for a final grade. I don't know my grades because my professor is too busy taking his 27th lunch break but as far as I am able to tell, I'm in deep shit. I run all the way to the arts building because the lab doesn't open until class starts, the library people are too dumb to install microsoft word (they think it has spyware in it, what bullshit), and I have enough tardies from the damned traffic. I tell the guy in charge of the arts printers, "Sir, I have a project due for my next class and I was wondering if I could use a printer very quickly. I don't require color, just one printed sheet.". He said, "If it's not art, you cannot print." I told him, "Sir, it's due in a few minutes, I cannot access any other printer in the school on time." and he says, "Well that's you're misfortune.". So I took yet another tardy just to print my f*cking paper, I go back and turn my assignment in. My friend said, "I don't think any of us are going to pass. Mr. Klug is being a real dick..." Mr. Klug gave me his usual grin, looked at the paper for a quick second and his skinny face cringed and said, "YOU CALL THIS AN OUTLINE!?"... "I don't know why you try... you're just wasting your time. If I were you I'd drop." I tried to keep myself from flipping out and said, "I'm sorry if this was any trouble." and he smiled again and said, "Oh no, it wasn't any trouble for me. You have 27 minutes left, what are you going to do?". I've been REALLY pissed off recently and I hope to hell I don't end up in academic probation just because he wants to be an ass... |

| About traffic: It's always gonna happen. But if you're smart, you'll know not to drive near malls on weekends, they're obviously going to be crowded. Don't go down streets that are prone to getting congested. Holidays only make it worse. And if you can't avoid it, just relax, put on some good music, and go with it. Don't let it get to you so easily.
About personal space: Yeah, I know that can get annoying. Again... just try to avoid busy stores during busy shopping days. And if the kids get too crazy... you can tell them to stop. Just do it in an adult fashion, you know? About your classes: Yeah, your teacher sounds like a prick. But if you want to avoid that, just do your homework ahead of time, and make it a habit to get to class early. We all know how proctastinating goes.. so just try to avoid it. It will take some more effort, but it will save you the headache and stress. You can definitely do that. |

I know how you feel with the traffic, especially now it's nearing Christmas. Road rules and common sense must seem to fly straight out of the window with these people and because I'm still a learner driver people tend to get more frustrated with me if I'm going the speed limit 
With your teacher, I would go and complain, I mean if he isn't being fair on any of you he can/could get in a lot of trouble.. teachers don't need like 27 lunch breaks. And getting proper software I thought would be essential for a school/college, it wouldn’t take much maintance to get a spyware system either. (edited by Dudette on 12-04-05 04:11 AM) |

Already talked to the deans and they aren't doing sh*t. At least I was able to evaluate my professors. Oh, I gave Klug-a-cock a great evaluation. I seriously hope he dies with the shingles.  |

| If you really feel they're being asses to your face, then speak up. It's pretty hard to do, but it's also very refreshing. As long as you aren't incredibly offensive and just state how you feel they're being unfair, I don't think you can get into trouble. If you're right then go for it. Education is something to be valued and most professors don't understand that. I mean that pissed the hell outta me when I read it. By the way, if you're gonna argue against a professor, I suggest planning it out. Think of any comeback they'd have and know how to counter it. Remember, by telling them how they suck, you're only helping people. | |||
