Taro: Flin... chy... T_T ---------- Now that most of the others had left the room, and the path to the door was clear, the green-haired boy walked slowly out of the room and left the tower, his eyes still closed. Once outside, he walked off to the side of the tower, where there was a locked door that presumably led to the sunken lower levels. The area was, of course, deserted, so there was no one around to see him. He leaned against the wall, and, still smirking, opened his eyes. His right eye was perfectly normal, with a yellow iris... But his left eye was the same purple, plastic-looking material as the horn-like protrusions on his forehead. There was a black circle where the iris should be, but the middle of this circle, where one would expect to find the pupil, was also purple. ???: The stage is set. Now it's time to sit back and watch the actors perform... And with that, he faded away. |

----------------------------- Kunio: Ah, there ya are! Taro, Sasami, Lily and Pommy had made it inside the Silver Guild. The Silver Guild consists of two floors, with sections on the first. On the first floor, there's a big kitchen, a workshop with several furnaces, Kunio's bedroom, and a large open area by the entrance. The second floor is a housing area prepared for those competing in the tournament, with each bedroom containing its own workshop furnace. Kunio: And yer late! *looks at Lily* Again! Lily: S-sorry, Master.. Kunio: I expected Lily to be late.. but Sasami-- Lily: Hey hey hey! It was really, like, crowded over there! |

Lily was hopping up and down, with Pommy hopping too. A vein throbbed on Kunio's forehead as he stomped a foot on the ground. Kunio: Calm down! The surprise is comin' when it's comin'! Besides, it won't be as bigga surprise fer Lily and Mikami since it ain't fer ya. Lily: What? That's so not fair! Disappointment had grounded Lily and Pommy. Kunio: But follow me to my room anyway. Kunio walked over to his room, and began talking to a man wearing a long, flowing cape. ----------------------------- Meanwhile, Arminas had a spring in his step as he stepped out of the Central Tower. Arminas: Haha! Maybe I really am lucky! Double lucky! Arminas pointed to a random person that was standing around. Arminas: And you're gonna stop pretending I'm not here and give me some respect! |

Kunio: That's right, he's a summoner. I brought 'im to Wystern for one purpose, and only one. He's going to summon the Guardian Beasts that will become Sasami's and yer's partners in battle. Do what ya came here to do, Summoner! Summoner: Indeed, Kunio. First you, Sasami. Tell me, what is most important to a Craftknight? Sasami: Hm... Consideration for all living things. A Craftknight can't make a weapon without taking natural order into account. They have to embrace nature into their creations, not reject it. Kunio: True, true... But a Craftknight has gotta be more of a fighter than a tree-hugger. If ya don't have strong weapons, ya can't protect nature... or yourself! Summoner: That is correct. Kunio: Now it's time to get yer Guardian Beast! Summoner: In a moment, Kunio, I have one final question for the girl. What does love mean to you? Sasami blushed at this, wondering what love had to do with any of this.. Sasami: Um... Love is the feeling that you have for someone special in your life. Summoner: That's a fine answer. Let us begin the ritual. Here, take this summonite gem. It is a magical stone with which your Guardian Beast can be called forth. Focus your thoughts... and wish for a Guardian Beast to help you in your battles. Concentrate! Sasami: Yes! Summoner: Now I will open the portal into the other world, using the words and methods of the ancients... Hear me, noble beast! Hear me and submit to my power! And now shout thy name! The name of the new bond! Thy master shall be... Sasami: Sasami!! There was a flash of light, and in front of everyone stood a miniature woman dressed mainly in white. She had long blue hair, and pink eyes, the same as Sasami... In fact, it would not be a stretch to say that Sasami would look just like this woman when she grows up. Well, except for the two green dots on the woman's forehead. Tsunami: Hello, I am Tsunami. And you must be my new master, Master Sasami? Sasami: That's right! But please, just call me Sasami.
Summoner: And now you, Taro. During the tournament, into what will you place more trust? The weapon you have forged, or the skill that you possess? Taro: That's easy. My skill is more important, because I have to use it both in forging the weapon and handling it. Summoner: And the last question... Would you rather have a stuffed animal, or a robot? Taro: Wha... What sort of question is that? Summoner: Just answer it. Taro: Um... The robot... I guess... Summoner: Alright, let's get down to business. Here's your summonite gem. Same process as with Sasami. Hear me, noble beast! Hear me and submit to my power! And now shout thy name! The name of the new bond! Thy master shall be... Taro: Taro!! There was a second flash of light, and again a small woman stood in front of everyone. She had long, pink, spiky hair put up with a gold hair band, and was wearing a mostly purple outfit with some gold trim. She had green eyes, and three pink dots on her forehead, even spaced with one below the other two. Washu: Hello! I am Washu, the greatest scientific genius in the universe!
Tsunami: Oneesama? Washu: Hm? Tsunami! So you're here as well? Taro: Um... excuse me... Miss Washu? Washu: Please, call me Washu-chan. Taro: Er... Washu... chan... Are you my Guardian Beast? Washu: I don't particularly approve of the terminology, but yes. Kunio: Now, I'll show ya two yer workshops. Follow me upstairs! And with that, Kunio, Taro, Washu, Sasami, and Tsunami left the room for the second floor. Mikami: Aw, the surprise was just them getting their Guardian Beasts... What a disappointment. | Alizabe: "I didn't like the look on his face..."
Alizabe slowly walked as Dracoon tried to talk some sense into her. Dracoon: "That'll be one of your opponets. I suggest you watch out when you meet these people, maybe even gather a little information. You're going to be the under dog as no one has even heard of your master." Alizabe sighed, the person who taught her everything about being a craftknight was Dracoon. He'd been watching over her and teaching her for as long as she could remember. Dracoon: "I'll teach you how to fight on even levels with these proper trained craftknights." Alizabe walked into a rather small house. It only had two rooms, and one was a bathroom. A furnace occupied most of the other room. Alizabe: "I don't even know what kind of weapon I should make... I'm so clueless..." Dracoon lifted off her shoulder and flew right in front of her. He hovered in the air with a smile on his face. Dracoon: "What do you think is most important in a weapon?" Alizabe thought about it, but she really wasn't sure. Alizabe: "It would have to be easy to use." Dracoon sighed, as much as a dracoon could sigh I mean. Dracoon: "No! What do you think is most important for a weapon to have!" Alizabe: "Oh uh... Durability! A broken weapon is no good!" Dracoon: "I'm glad I didn't have to explain that to you!" Alizabe blushed. Being mocked by her own guardian, she was glad no one was around to see this. Dracoon: "What do you think is the most durable weapon?" Alizabe thought about it. Swords were great, but they tended to dull and break after a while. Almost everything broke, in fact only a small weapon had real durability. Alizabe: "Knuckles...?" Dracoon: "Good girl! Who wants a treat!?" Alizabe blushed deeper as her guardian continued to poke fun at her. Dracoon: "When we can go get supplies, I'll teach you how to forge a good pair of knuckles. Then I'll teach you how to actually fight with them. For now, relax though." Dracoon flew towards the forge and started to inspect it. Alizabe sat back and watched him. |

As vlad enters his appartment he begins to search for the book about summoning (the name of the book is demonic summonings) where the fuck did i put that book The reasons he can't find his notes is that he just moved into his new appartment so there is many moving boxes stacked up in the corner. After searching for ten minutes found them finally. *he starts to read the notes and finds a section called forbidden summoningswell this will be interesting as he starts the chant for the summoning "Into the darkness I call upon Cthulhu to aid me in my darkest hour, upon which i demand that all that have a un-tainted spirit to rot in the pits of hell for all eternity...now i give my blood to you all mighty ruller" *he cuts his arm over a summoning circle to complete the summoning* a creature appears after a half a minute. the creature looks like a mounth old kitten except instead of fir there is a weak fire and its eyes are blood red(as it ages and changes i'll update it's apperrince) "hhm... whats your name" in a hiss like voice "my name iss Essu" |

Not that being powerful is bad, but I was hoping that main characters wouldn't be considered "powerful". Strong, maybe. Hidden power, maybe. But not openly "powerful" until maybe later))

| Alizabe started to doze off, bored by Dracoon's inspection of the furnace. Before long her eye-lids became to heavy to bare and she slipped into a nice sleep.
Dracoon: "Cute, asleep already." Dracoon lit the furance with a small breath of flame and let it burn, trying to warm it up. Dracoon: "Sleep as good as you can, you'll need the energy for tomorrow." |

Lily: You forgot to include us in it. Master, just because we've already got our own Guardian Beasts doesn't mean you can over look us. Kunio: Do ya want yer room, or what? Lily: Yes yes! Sheesh! Kunio: Anyway, as I was sayin'.. Only tournament entrants are allowed into the workshops on the second floor. Try not to fight over who gets which room. Lily peeked her head into one of the rooms. It was very roomy area, containing a furnace, tool sets, and even a bed. It was basically a bedroom in a workshop.. or a workshop in a bedroom. Lily: Ooooh! It looks nicey! Kunio: That's good, b'cause yer gonna be working here day and night from now on. Lily stopped leaning and turned her head. There was a bit of a dull look in her face.. Lily: Master, that's not gonna shock me. Mi-mi, here, already told me about it. Kunio: ... Does it shock the rest of ya? Kunio glances over at Taro, Sasami, and Mikami. He raises a brow until he hears something downstairs. "Oyyy! Is Kunio in here!? Heyyyyyyy!" Kunio: Argh, who let a loudmouth in here! Voice: "Yeah, you won the tournament!" Alizabe: "I-I did!?" Dracoon smiled as Alizabe purred in her sleep. Must be a good dream. He worked on the furnace, getting it hotter and hotter. Soon night would be over. |

The voice came from behind Alizabe. It was the boy who had pointed at her a long time ago. He stood, kneeling, with a broken sword by his feet. ------------------------------ Kunio's feet thundered with every step as he made his way down the stairs to the first floor. Kunio: What're ya hollerin' fer? Oh, it's you. Arminas: What's that supposed to mean?
Kunio: It means I'm gonna ring yer neck if ya don't get out. Arminas: Hold your horses, "Ojiisan". I've got a letter from a Craftlord that gives me permission to join. Arminas hands Kunio a piece of paper while a vein throbs on the guild leader's forehead. Kunio proceeds to crumble the paper up.. Arminas: Hey, what're you..
.. and then chucks it at Arminas. The paper ball bounces off of the Selkie's face and rolls on the floor. Arminas: Oy! What was that for!? Kunio: Ya come in 'ere an' demand to be let in the Silver Guild, an' ya don't even apologize for yer behavior? Arminas: Eh? What're you talking about? Kunio: Argh! Get out! Arminas: Hey, atleast let me get me own Guardian Beast. I can see the summoner over there. Kunio: The summoner's tired. He's done fer the day. Summoner: Actually, I've got enough energy for another. Kunio: Yer not helpin'.. |

| OOC: Kirbynite i'm not tryong to dosobay you and what not but I did not want to revil this yet but all of Vlad's family was high summoners for his city so he comes by summoning with difficulty. His parents taught him basic summoning and he can only do it when he has a book open and is reading the spell directly from the book that is why he needed the book of summoning. What he can summon is only in the "infint stages" and is not that powerful... but it will get stronger as it ages and the creature takes 2 posts to age once. | |||

| OOC: The only issue here, Gaara, is that posting takes indeterminate periods of time... Anywhere between five seconds and five hours can pass between two of your posts. I haven't posted once in this thread yet and already a day has passed in story time. You're starting off strong, it's good that you're trying to fit into the environment well, but you've also got to transcend a mechanical style of roleplaying and figure it out in a more fantasy-like sense... Almost as if you're counting the days as your characters do, not as you, the poster, does. | |||

There were two little kids running by Alizabe as she stepped outside. Child: Hurry up! We don't mom yelling at us for not making it before our curfew! Child 2: I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying! The children quickly turned when they ran into a splitpath on a walkway above water. One of the kids almost lost his footing and fell into the drink. It seems like he's done this a lot of times. The commercial area contained an inn, a shop for crafting materials, and several other shops and little resturants. There was always something for someone, even if they felt like having something different on their next visit to the area. The fountain in the center of all the shops was lit up by several lights. It was a popular spot to hangout. However, since the tournament had started, there were less people standing around. ----------------------------- Summoner: Okay, I need something important from you.. Kunio: Eh? What's this about? Summoner: I need an item that is close to him so I can focus better. I don't have as much energy as I did before. Arminas: Hm... Ah! Me charm! Kunio quirked a brow when he saw Arminas pull out a trinket from inside his tunic. Kunio: Where'd ya steal that from? Arminas: It's a keepsake from my parents, you jerk. Kunio: Strange, I thought Hell spat you out. Arminas: Can we get on with this?  |

| Alizabe looked around, there were quite a few interesting places to eat, she was practically drooling. She went over to a stand that was selling cooked fish, she impatiently ordered, licking her lips as the man brought out an eel on a stick.
Dracoon: "That looks disgusting." Alizabe took a bite of the eel and started walking towards a supply shop. Dracoon: "Horribly disgusting..." Alizabe finished the eel and walked into the supply shop, just browsing. Dracoon: "We'll just need some raw materials, some iron will do nicely. A little leather too." Alizabe: "This is going to be a cheap weapon isn't it...?" Dracoon sighed as Alizabe purched a hunk of iron and some leather. Dracoon: "Yes, but we'll forge a better one for you when the tournament comes around, this is just practice." |

The air within the building begins to rush infront of the summoner, while a ball of light begins to grow in the same spot of the concentrated winds. Summoner: Hear me, noble beast! Hear me and submit to my power! And now shout thy name! The name of the new bond! Thy master shall be... Arminas: Arminas! Kunio, after seeing it happen plenty of times before, had brought out his goggles to keep himself from being blinded by the light. The ball of light quickly disapears, revealing a figure that was as tall as Arminas. It looked like a tanned human male, except for the two tiny horns sticking out of his forehead and the black tiger-like stripes all over his body. He wore a ripped vest, a torn pair of shorts, and a black bandana wrapped across his head. He also had his hands and feet wrapped in a tape or some white cloth. ???: ... Is this Wystern? Indeed, it is... I recognize its smell. Kunio: It's.. No way. ???: Kunio? If you are here, that means only one thing... I have been summoned here by a Craftknight, again.... Arminas: What's going on, old man? Who is this guy? He looks awesome. ???: ..... The figure looks over at Arminas with an irritated look. ???: You, there. | Kunio walks over to Arminas and pats him on the back, very strongly. He lets out a hearty laugh and looks at the figure.
Kunio: And when did ya come to think so highly of yerself? ???: I see you've changed as well. You must weigh fifty pounds more than when I last saw you... Kunio: Watch yer tongue, Beast! ???: Why, Kunio! Are you trying to pick a fight with me? Arminas: So.. uh.. ???: Bah! I'm returning to Silturn at once. Kunio: Cool down, Spekkio! Ya've been summoned here, and yer bounded by this kid's fancy little charm 'ere. Kunio moves his hand on Arminas's good luck charm. Arminas pushes Kunio away, not before Spekkio has a chance to see. Spekkio: I've changed my mind. I'm going to be your partner... and we're going to have fun, you and I. Arminas: Eh? Spekkio: Again with that stupid exp Kunio: Just come on up. And with that Kunio took off to head upstairs. He sees Taro and Sasami still standing outside of the rooms. Kunio: What're ya'll still standing out here? Pick yer room, 'cause ya won't get the chance after the new kid comes. Lily pokes her head out of the room she was in. Lily: Hey, Master. Aren't you supposed to teach us something? Kunio: Later.
